Yes, I know that turbulent flowing water has less surface tension and higher oxygen content, but I don't necessarily believe that that will improve your intake of the water and help you maintain a higher level of hydration. That being said, I am willing to test out the theory and this was a very cost effective way to do that. This time of year, it is very dry and cold in this part of Arizona. As a result, my knuckles and cuticles crack/split and bleed. So if this does work, it will be worth it. I just started using it today, so this will be a first day impression.I started by doing a pre-use rinse of the bottle. Then, I took a bottle of cold RO filtered water out of the fridge and filled the bottle. After shaking for roughly one minute, I checked the pH of the water. My RO water usually measures 4.5pH (the biggest problem with RO systems is the low pH water they create). The pH came in between 5 and 5.5 pH, so a slight improvement there, just not enough to be excited about. Now I went to enjoy a refreshing bottle of structured water......unfortunately, there is no way to enjoy the taste of burnt rubber, or the smell of such. I am committed to giving this a real try, so after a little recovery time, I made a second batch. Two batches of burnt rubber tasting water later and I had a bit of an upset stomach. I actually have my third batch next to me as I write this. I have been working on it for about four hours now, and it's been a total of ten hours from the first drink. Sadly, this is far less water than I normally drink and thus, I am feeling very dehydrated at this time. I am not sure I can finish this batch.I have a few ideas to help stick to this test....Tomorrow, I intend to add lemon juice to the water and see if that makes it bearable. I plan to stick it out for two weeks to see if it actually does anything for my dry/cracking hands. Worst case scenario, the filter piece is removable, and you are left with a very expensive, fancy looking, ordinary water bottle.I'll report back in two weeks....for now, I do not recommend this atrocity to anyone unless you have an affinity to the smell and taste of burnt rubber.Update: I failed to update this after my two week test, so thought I should do so now. If I could lower my review a star, I would. Unfortunately, 1 star is the lowest you can go. The horrid taste was always present in the water I made from it. I could not stomach drinking the monstrosity, so would mix two batches a day and taste a sip then dump it. At the end of my trial, I removed the center piece and still use the bottle as a plain old water bottle. I upgraded my RO system to a 7-stage and now I get great mineral water straight out of a separate tap on my faucet.I find it interesting that the company never attempted to contact me to resolve the issue, and now have a number of positive reviews from people with only partial names......Hmm! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Energy without caffeine *by T***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2017* Although it's a recent purchase, it feels like an energy boost. It's true what the reviewer said on your first batch....put your distilled water in, let it process in the Nanowell and then throw it out. After that, put your filtered or distilled water in, let it process overnight, and then use the water for your coffee or take in a different water bottle. (Don't drink from the nanowell.). It seems to have a slightly different taste, but it's not metallic or otherwise. Not sure if it's due to the first batch or what. It has a similar taste if you've tried hydrogen water. Used bottled water, distilled, and filtered water. For me, it was a great alternative to coffee and feeling awake quickly. Just put the water in the night before and pour it into your water bottle. Tested this product and found it effective. However, the 4 star rating is due to the downside--not having the ability to get a new filter easily, but a reviewer asked about this, and the company/vendor indicated that the filter lasts for a year. Wish it were available in the event you wanted to have a new filter prior to a year's use. Also, as a note, as the other reviewer noted, don't use soap when cleaning this. Thanks and best of health to you! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ No rubber taste, maybe fake people flaming this product . .? *by T***E on Reviewed in the United States on June 17, 2018* I read all the posts about this product, and was kind of scared of finding out the truth of whether it tastes like burnt rubber or not. I was pleasantly surprised it didn't, but I did taste a hint of something . . . I guess that's what people were talking about, but, I don't smoke cigarettes, so I like to think my taste buds are somewhat keen. I do feel more cleansed in my brain, but, other than that, it's too soon to tell. Instructions says 2 bottles, at 80% filled, which I think is roughly 560 ml, for 3 months.
