Reliable cold water for 2 years
Installed it in a kitchen remodel 2 years ago, running to a Insinkerator hot/cold dispenser, and it’s been great. No problems with the chiller at all.

Great for 3 years…then died.
We purchased this 3 years ago and today it died.Sad that we spent $800 for this and it stops working only after a few years. Probably won’t be replacing it even though we loved our chilled water. Its a bit noisy under the sink but we could deal with that. Will be looking for a better solution.UPDATE- we missed chilled water almost immediately. Purchased a new unit even though we were disappointed with the longevity of the first one.Notice that the water stems are now plastic and not metal. Wonder what other ‘cheaper’ product replacements Franke has changed out that we can’t see. Hoping this one lasts’ longer.

Perfect alternative for Insinkerator hot/cold combo faucet and/or no cold water tap in fridge
Great solution for colder water. We used in place of upgrading the refrigerator that didn't have cold water dispenser.Unit fit great under the sink and I connected to the insinkerator instant hot/cold faucet. We now have filtered hot and cold coming out of the faucet. We have a whole house filter on the main water inlet as well, which makes this double filtered. The alternative to get a Thermador freezer with cold water was about $6,000. The math is obvious and even if unit doesn't last forever, the cost justifies replacing over and over if necessary. Some other units talk of being hot. The plumber who installed this unit was very happy when he came in and saw the Franke, which he said has a good track record. I didn't need a plumber to install except he was already at the house for other repair/upgrades.The water isn't "brain freezing" but it's cold on demand vs. letting the faucet run for 2-3 minutes. We have a hot water circulator on the whole house and therefore the water coming out of the spigot is usually warm. This unit resolves that issue so at least I have cold water on demand at the primary sink in the kitchen.Lastly, I manage the power with a wifi switch so the unit isn't running all day and night when not at home.I don't like cold water but rest of family does. Happy family. One and done.

Stay Away at all cost.
We have had two of these units. We followed the required ventilation protocols and both of the units have died. The worst piece of junk ever. For the cost, they should be ashamed of themselves on the longevity/durability. We also do not use this extensively which is more insulting.

Super cold drinking water!
This unit delivers very cold water, just as I had hoped. It is a fairly quiet unit, but not entirely silent. It is hidden inside the cabinet under the counter, so most of the time I don't hear it - however if I'm standing a couple of feet away, I might hear a slight hum (not bothersome at all). I had previously used the Insinkerator CWT00 which is no longer in production. I was happy with the insinkerator, but I like this better because it produces colder water. Be warned, these units are big, so be prepared to make room for it under the counter, and don't forget that you'll need to have an electric outlet nearby.

old unit
i bought a brand new unit and it stopped working after nine months. It should have been covered underwarrenty but when i called Franke and they had me call Oasis it turns out my serial number was shipped in November of 22. Amazon sold it to me in January of 24. Now im out the money.

4 years then died.
It did what it was supposed to do. However it was loud enough that I lined the inside of the cabinet with sound deadening pads. Pretty expensive for equipment that only lasted 4 years for a family of five.

Works as advertised
It doesn’t leak, provides cold water, etc. There aren’t many options for this type of water cooler, but this one is the one I would recommend. Cheaper ones just don’t cut it. The water tank itself is a bit small, but that’s fine for my use case of just grabbing a cup of cold water every once in a while.

Broke in 3 months
The product worked fine for 3 months. Then quit working. That’s $300/month for cold water. Company with their name on the product - Franke - says, not our problem, talk to amazon. Amazon say, it’s been more than 30 days, so not our problem.

Works great, Very Happy
We have had multiple different water chillers in different homes. The Franke Little Butler works great. It is so nice to have chilled, filtered water all the time. I highly recommend the product.

Beware
Do not buy this piece of Cr__. Stopped working after 20 months, product description states it has a 5 year warranty, but when I contacted Franke I was told that that is an error and the warranty is 1 year as stated in the manual which you don't see until you have already purchased the product. Zero product support, $1,000.00 down the toilet.

Worked great for 22 months but died
I see others have had the same problem. It worked great for 22 months. We loved the cold water and them suddenly no power to the unit. It died and Franke justsays sorry about your luck.

very NOISY
Low quality product. It chills the water fine but sounds like a motor boat. Too noisy for a residential kitchen and way above what a typical refrigerator compressor sounds like. Around 65db at the unit.
