I bought these for kayak fishing so can confirm they are waterproof. Well made and sturdy with good locking clips and seal. I have both sizes and they are perfect for lures and other tackle. Make sure you put the inserts the correct way and they lock in tight. Due to the seal making them waterproof it means moisture cant get out so i always leave them open for a couple of hours to let the box and lures dry out before storing them away. A tip for cutting the inserts apart is use a stanley knife and it will give you a perfect straight edge.10/10 for the quality and the price i have replaced all my tackle boxes with these ones as they are so good.

I finally needed to replace my tackle box that i have had since i was a boy. I saw this on amazon, and i admit, for the price, i was a bit wary of its suitability. I was very wrong, i ordered the box, and was very happy with its design, its sturdiness, the clips clamping the lid tight to keep it waterproof, and the ability to change the size of the inner compartments to suit whatever rigs, tackle, lures etc you wished to store in there. I was si impressed after using it on my first fishing trip, that i ordered another pair as a gift for a fishing friend, who appreciates a tough design, and value for money.

Size was good and sturdy. It also had a smart locking system, not easily opened,which is a good idea As children could easily open some others and impale their fingers in the sharp hooks, etc.I didn't like the fact you had to put in all the different compartments, as most lures, have set sizes now,the company could have just worked it out for us..otherwise it was okay.

I brought two of these and one was broken. As it has three clips and one of the clips is damaged as per the photo, I will not be returning, but am disappointed. I suspect because the two came loosely out together it was damaged then. However I did not notice until I started filling in the box this morning. I felt the manufacture should be aware, in case this is happening to others

Brilliant. Starting fishing as a newbie I decided to get this kit. Now I did order a tackle box and thought what is the point of getting this as the tackle box is already does the job with all the gear already arranged. Truth is, before you know you will be adding more and more tackle gear and this will hold it all us you can constantly change the lay out to match your kit so everything is in order and not over lapping.

Just received and looks the part for storing a variety of items for fishing, only negative is the plastic inserts which are attached to each other, I used scissors to separate these but you have to be careful not to break them, you would think in this day and age with modern manufacturing processes they could supply these items pre cut, perhaps the price would increase if this had to carried out. Overall looks good quality and I suppose once the inserts are in place how often would you move them, well worth the money.

To be clear these boxes are excellent, the problem is i ordered 2 and like so many customers one arrived cracked and broken.they are strong and robust so at some point in transit to or from amazon they are being seriously mishandled!

Just received this and it seems perfect for my needs (angling)The clips are very easy to use if your not heavy handed.The many options provided for sectioning the box out at good.Just remember to squeeze the main carriers for the dividers together and they all clip in to place securely.Can't comment on its waterproof claim as yet but no doubt it will take a tumble one day !
