So comfortable - like slippers
I am in love with shoes. I have tried the nursing clogs and ended up taking them off through my shift since my feet hurt so bad. But these are amazing. I wore them at home for half a day and my feet had no pain from them so decided to take a chance and wear them to work. I am a nurse so on my feet for about 10 hours. After my first day wearing them my feet did not hurt one bit, My legs did not ache and I love the fact they have a slight heel which makes me feel more feminine rather than wearing the white sneakers that I had been wearing. Also, I love the fact that they have laces unlike the clog style shoe - you can loosen the laces as the shift gets near the end when your feet have increased in size. Initially, I kind of thought they looked like old ladies shoes, but you know what ,,,,they feel so so wonderful on, I really do not care if people think that. I usually wear a 8 wide but got these in a 8 1/2 wide and they fit amazing. If anyone is on the fence about buying these, go 1/2 size up and try them out at home first. I love them and love fact that i can use white polish on them to keep them looking clean. totally recommend these

Hard as a rock and narrow
I work in retail on my feet all day ( cement floors ) so I am on the hunt for the holy grail in soft comfy supportive shoes. I wore Nursemates yrs ago as a waitress and figured I would give them a shot. I knew right out of the box they're going to be a NO. HARD AS A ROCK and no way a wide. Nursemates you've changed. I have a wide to dbl wide foot and the ball of my feet are very sensitive. I was told they've changed but I see a drastic change and not a good one, these would hug my feet happy all day.... no more. So my search continues

very comfortable, perfect fit
Light-weight, very comfortable, perfect fit, true to size.Someone had asked what the heel height is. Its 1-3/4" high at the back of the heel, then gradually tapers downThe one thing that I'm disappointed in is the outside sole. It hasn't caused slipping when walking thus far, but it is very shiny and smooth, a waffle looking design. I'd prefer one with a rubber non-slip sole for better traction on wet surfaces, to prevent slipping or a fall.

Fit Feet
I always hod correctly fitting shoes due to the fluoroscopes used in the 1950s for seeing inside the shoe. As a farm county kid we walked more than most. Being leather shoes provides protection more so than other materials. I was getting callous on one area fo my feet and knew I needed a new pair just like the last ones (I bought quite awhile back). Thank you for providing a good foundation for standing and walking and bone structure. My body says thank you for keeping me even keeled!

Take care of your feet, and the rest will do well.
I wore this style shoe when I was in nursing school 30+ years ago, and couldn't wait to be able to wear my "sneakers" that I thought were better for me, only to find out later in life, this style shoe is better for not only my feet, but every part of my body! Wearing these shoes I no longer have ankle, knee, hip or back pain! Shoe is stylish, sleek, comfortable.

Not the same shoe from the past!
For the first 5 years of my nursing career, this was the model I wore on a daily basis. It looks the same, but is totally different. First off, no cushy soft insole. No support for the arches. The medium width is decidedly narrow, as if they simply stretched the smaller size and the sides contracted to accommodate. Toe box is not designed for a human foot. The sole is a hard plastic that seems like, I don't know, PVC? Try standing on THAT for 8 hours! Nursemates has apparently been taken over by a company that absorbs the trademark without the quality. That's really sad.

Size
Okay first of all, length wise it's okay. Width not so much. I normally wear a 5 but i went up 5.5 W and it's slipping off my feet but they are not wide, the hurt my little toes really bad and they are hard on the ball of the feet. I waited two weeks to see if they'd stretch but not at all! If you have narrow flat feet then this is for you. For people who have wide feet and high instep such as myself this is a no no. Only good thing about this is the length and heel!

I'd like it to have more support
I'd like it to have more support. I have worn SAS for many years. the support seems better. This is exactly like the SAS Bounce in many ways but as I said it seems to lack some of the support provided by SAS. Problem is SAS does ot make the Bounce in white any more. In fact they have given up on many of the colors (in Bounce) previously made. How sad.VKT
