This chair fit the bill for what I was looking for. 'Was so excited to use this and it did not disappoint when we chose it over the low-to-the-ground TB beach chairs due to its versatility (i.e. camping, outdoor movie, tailgating, patio/yard, etc). I ordered a matching black pair so it'd look chic. While bright colors are great for finding your way back to your spot on the beach, we already have a unique umbrella and we steer away from crowded beaches when possible. My husband was skeptical about carrying two chairs in addition to our usual gear: a packed cooler, umbrella, blanket and towel. An hour into our beach day date, he admitted, he gets it now. It completely changed the vibe of our beach day date from schlepping gear to feeling like we just walked out from our waterfront hotel to a furnished beachfront. He just wished the chairs were a lower price lol. Being more comfortable made things more enjoyable and somehow "minimal" rather than shifting on the hard and dusty ground while I'm reading a book which hurts my upper back and shoulders while I'm lying down, my lower back if I'm sitting and it's worse for my posture. The utilitarian ability to hold drinks and keep it cool and keep small items within reach on each side was worth the little bit of extra weight and bulk! Though obviously not the kind of camping chair you'd bring for backcountry hiking. The carrying case with the sling was a must for us to reduce the burden and keep sand out of the car. Great quality and construction, feels durable, stable and ergonomic for an unpadded cloth chair. My husband is 5'9 regular and I'm 5'2 petite for reference. While I would've preferred to get it on sale, at least the price is half of those higher-end yard chairs or "elite" camping chairs I'm not sure would be worth their price. Admittedly, I've never had the pleasure of trying those out. I would say that this was a successful purchase and I don't regret choosing this over a $10 Walmart chair.

I currently own three of these chairs, and all of them are approaching eight years old with regular summer use. That's probably the strongest endorsement I can give. What stands out immediately is how solid they feel compared to typical folding camp chairs. Many portable chairs feel flimsy or unstable, especially after a few seasons of use. These are noticeably heavier duty and inspire confidence when you sit down. The built-in features are also genuinely useful rather than gimmicky: cup holder works as expected side pocket is handy for small items integrated cooler is surprisingly convenient for keeping a few drinks close by The durability has been excellent. Despite years of use at cookouts, camping trips, outdoor events, and backyard gatherings, mine are still going strong without torn fabric, broken frames, or other major issues. We've always been pretty good about putting them away after use, so I can't speak to leaving them outdoors year-round. That said, they do spend plenty of time in the sun during the summer and I've seen none of the fading, brittleness, or UV degradation that often shows up in cheaper outdoor fabrics. One feature that doesn't get enough attention is the storage bag. On a lot of folding chairs, getting the chair back into the included sack feels like trying to stuff a sleeping bag back into factory packaging. These are snug, but not frustrating. Whoever sized the storage bag actually seemed to understand that people need to put the chair away more than once. The only real downside is the price. When I bought mine years ago, they felt like an incredible bargain. Like most things, the price has climbed over time. At today's prices I'd still recommend them, but I'd also say they're approaching the upper end of what I'd personally want to spend on a folding camp chair. That said, after nearly eight years of ownership, it's hard to argue with the value. If you're tired of replacing flimsy camp chairs every few seasons, these are well worth considering.

I've had a pretty wide variety of cheap and not-cheap camp chairs over the years, including a Coleman chair with a footrest that I still love to take camping after what's got to be 20+ years. This one's a solid choice for a camp chair that's a little bigger and feels more sturdy than the cheapies. Even better, it has not just the typical cupholder in one arm, but also a drink cooler in the other arm! This unfolds in an instant into a sitting position, and from years with my past Coleman chairs, I know just how to pick it up from the front of the arms to fold it quickly. It's not too hard to wrestle it to the point that it's narrow enough to get back in the carry bag, and it's not too heavy to carry to and from the car. (This isn't something I'd want to schlep for a long hike.) The insulated cooler is probably not going to keep your drinks cold for hours all by itself, but I found that with a freezer gel pack along with the canned drinks, it did just fine. Without the gel pack, it would at least insulate better than leaving the drinks sitting outside. This was comfortable to sit in for a concert, and at 6'2" and 210 pounds, I found it fit me just fine.

This is the first chair that I purchased without first sitting in to test comfort. I originally had two Coleman Quads that I purchased at COSTCO years ago. One was misplaced at a cookout, and somehow an "inferior" chair was placed in my Coleman Quad bag. Both these chairs we have had a long time and we use them a lot for camping and baseball. I purchased this chair from Amazon to replace the other chair. First off, I recommend that a folding chair should be sat in before purchasing- if you can't try it out, I advise against an online purchase. This chair appears to be rather heavy and does not seem to be "oversized". I'm 6' 200+ and wouldn't call this oversized. The carrying bag is not as nice as my other Coleman bags, and seems rather cheap- and the chair is a little difficult to place back in the bag. Also, it appears the seating surface isn't quite long enough and my thighs overhang the seat bottom- and the space is rather small as your thighs must fit in between the front mounting supports. This really hampers my seating comfort. You have to be careful getting out of the chair- if you place too much of your weight on the arms of the chair when getting up- they seem that they would bend very easily. What I do like about this chair, the cooler pocket! A great idea, but not really useful if you think about it- holds one- two drinks, but no way can you place the drinks in the cooler portion and attempt to get the chair back in the carrying bag. But, if you're outside in the heat- I place my screw cap bottles back in the cooler to keep the drink cold while consuming. I gave this chair 4 stars for several reasons, mostly it's worth the price, and it is perfect for small adults or children. This chair was very inexpensive- so you really get what you pay for. I have only used this for one weekend of ball games- and not sure if it will hold up, but it's my wife's chair now, as I now use the old Coleman. It's a keeper for us, but I am going to purchase another chair from a brick and mortar- so I can test it out first. This chair was a really good value and I couldn't give it a bad rating- but you get what you pay for and if comfort is really important, I recommend a store purchase . If I had paid more for it, I probably would have returned it- but it's not a bad chair or value for the price- but if you're a grown adult, you will need to be very careful putting your weight on the arms when getting out of it.

UPDATE: I've had this chair since July 2019, using it roughly once/week and it still looks like new. Really solidly built. Unfortunately, it's just too bulky and heavy for me to carry around anymore, even across the street to where I take my dog to a park, so I'm shopping for another cheap lightweight one. I'll keep this one for camping or just to have an extra chair around, but it's too heavy for me to carry any distance now, as I'm getting old. But, as far as durability, you should know this is a great chair. Never had a problem with it opening or closing, and it doesn't show any wear at all in all this time. OLD REVIEW: I knew this was going to be heavier than the old used chair I got at a yard sale. I'm still glad I bought it because it's so comfortable and I love the amenities that, of course, weigh more. I love how wide the seat is on this. I'm a big lady and my dog likes to come up and share the chair with me, and this chair is awesome for the size. It's pretty much impossible to fold up into a nice thin thing for carrying to the park or wherever. I'm not going to put it in and out of the bag when I just want to walk to a local park with my dog, so I fold up my chairs and put them under an arm. I tried using a bungee cord to make it fold up smaller, but that was a pain. The problem is the pockets and the arm cooler get in the way. If you tuck them in before folding it up, then the chair doesn't fold up very thin. If you don't, then you have things flapping or sticking out. HOWEVER, I'd buy it again for the comfort and convenience. If I was going to walk very far, though, I'd buy another lighter chair without all the bells and whistles, and keep this one, too, for when I won't have to carry it very far. I also love the zipper system for opening and closing the insulated cooler on the arm. It's a double zipper with a handle pull that connects to the zipper on either side. This means the opening to the cooler is wide, instead of having just one zipper on top with a narrow opening. With this system, you pull the handle, and it unzips a zipper on either side of the cooler, opening a space as wide as the cooler. When you pull the zippers closed, there is a velcro flap that closes the space at the opening, so the cooler is completely sealed closed. It's really well-made will really sturdy zippers. Other than the weight, I really don't get why anyone would complain about this chair. My last one was nice and light and functional, but fell apart. I can see a huge difference in quality construction on this Coleman chair compared to the Sports Authority one I just had to throw out. It's too bad you can't buy replacement seats. The base on my old chair was fantastic - heavy duty but also really light. But, I must admit in my old age, I like having more conveniences, like having a cooler for my water in the arm of my chair. Tip: Freeze a water bottle, like from an old ICE sparkling water bottle (they're the perfect, slim size) and throw it in the cooler with your drinks or sandwich, to keep them really cold.

Sturdy, pukas for phone, wallet, etc. A little heavier than expected, but it adds durability. Decent chair.

Very expensive and uncomfortable. I am heavy and huge. one of the two chairs I ordered directly folded down under my weight. It‘s broken now. I only use the remaining chair for women. I do not recommend to buy this if u r looking for heavy duty foldable chairs

La verdad, esperaba algo un poco más básico y pensé que el precio estaba algo elevado para una silla plegable, pero decidí arriesgarme y me sorprendió para bien: es un excelente producto. Es muy amplia, lo que permite que uno pueda sentarse a sus anchas y es realmente estable a la hora de sentarse, cuando se está sentado y cuando uno se para a pesar de que es increíblemente ligera y manejable. Llega en su funda de lona con correa, lo que la hace ideal para llevarla a todas partes y fácil de guardar o sacar. Ya puesta (viene armada; el despliegue toma no más de medio minuto), tiene una bolsa muy amplia pero discreta del lado derecho, es ideal para poner quizá una lámpara, tus snacks, cigarros, yo no sé, es útil. Del lado izquierdo una bolsa con hielera que cierra con velcro y cierres. Funciona muy bien para conservar frías hasta cuatro bebidas enlatadas (no recomendaría meter más) y un par de bolsas de gel congelado para mantenerlas frías más tiempo. El compartimento para una lata (el que sirve para descansar la mano) ayuda a mantener la bebida estable cuando uno se para o va a sentarse. Eso sí: no diría que usar la silla es como sentarse en una nube ni nada parecido, pero es razonablemente cómoda e ideal para estar sentado mucho rato por ejemplo mientras ves el fútbol. No lo he comprobado pero los materiales parecen impermeables; eso sí, son gruesos y las costuras se sienten durables. Estoy muy contento con esta compra, la recomiendo si tienes un patio grande y eres adepto a las parrilladas al aire libre o a salir a acampar.
