I make milk kefir and water kefir at home. Kefir can react with metal so it’s best to use a nylon strainer, such as this one. This is perfectly sized to strain out the kefir grains, I’m happy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gets the job done

This basically gets the job done if you need to drain pasta or noodles or anything chunky. I originally purchased it for my teas but didn't realize it was a medium size strainer. I still kept it and tried it to separate the herbs in my tea from the water and this would not be the best size to use. When I received it, I could tell see many flaws with the edges and holes and have been waiting for the day that it falls apart. However, I have had it for a few months an it is still going strong. It's easy to clean as long as you wash you don't let the food dry on it. Could have gotten it at the dollar store/ Walmart for cheaper to be honest. But the price is good for convenience of not moving from the couch.
