It is perfect pen to sketch on a screen as if it is a paper!
I am an architect in the UK. Recently, I have a 2019 Surface Pro and use this pen to sketch my designs and make revisions on my projects when I am away from my computer. I love sketching on a paper texture normally. But I am feeling comfortable with this pen when I am sketching on a screen. I can definitely say this pen words two-fold price when you consider its quality and functions. I have tried my friendโs Microsoft Surface Pen and I recognised this pen lighter than Surface Pen. When you sketching it feels as if your charcoal classic pencil. Other strong points of Ciscle Pen are these: - It charges with micro-USB cable. - It is useful to get this pen with two nibs as hard and soft nibs. As for me, the soft nib provides a more comfortable experience on the screen. - Magnetic strip feature is also gets easy to move around with my surface sketch kit in around. - Multi-touch points feature is amazing to control my line thickness. I love it. As for me, the only weak aspect is that there is no shortcut feature such as clicking or double-clicking. But it deserves other compliments with a lot of positive sites as I had listed above. Finally, I would recommend this Ciscle Pen by all means. It is a great price and performance product!

Ciscle Pen - doesn't eat batteries like other pens!
I use a 2017 Surface Pro, and have previously been using a Wacom Bamboo stylus for photography work and general scribbling. After accidentally burning through around a million batteries I decided to give this Ciscle pen a go. I have tested it in Photoshop, Word for hand notations and also on Sticky Notes. First impressions It comes in a slimline, good quality box! Never underestimate the quality of a box. The pen comes with a short charging cable, two replacement tips (one soft, one hard), nib remover (though you can also use your fingernails), instructions, a wee thank you card and a 2 year warranty card. Pros - Built in recharging! This is a game changer, and why I was interested in this particular pen in the first place. I have drained so many batteries by accidentally pressing down the top button of my Bamboo pen in my bag. And AAAs donโt come in cheaper bulk packs! - The rocker button is low profile and unobtrusive. I like the fact you can erase with a forward button press, though it is a slightly awkward finger position if you find youโre doing lots of it. I think a side-eraser might be divisive and I wasnโt sure myself, but I actually find it doesnโt interrupt your flow like turning a pen over might. A back press on the rocker brings up the right-click menu. - The pen is plug and play and comes fully charged. I already had a pen set up on my Surface so thereโs a chance it simply picked up that profile, but I turned on the pen and off I went. No setup, no problems. - It has excellent ergonomics. The barrel is rounded with one flat side, itโs light but not flimsyโit has a good weight and feel in the hand. The flat area houses the magnet which holds it against the side of the Surface. It feels secure, though I would personally still only use it as a dock and wouldnโt risk travelling away from the desk with it there! Itโs a strong magnet but, much like the Surface Pen, it could still easily be knocked off. - Itโs quite aesthetically pleasing, the finish is matte black (I believe it also comes in white), and the barrel is metal which has a pleasing hand-feel. - Automatic palm rejection, itโs an expectation for a pen these days but it just works from the off. I almost forgot to mention it. - No lag, excellent smooth response onscreen. - 4096 pressure sensitivity works well for Photoshop and in general drawing tests, though I donโt do a huge amount of fine drawing work on the tablet so canโt fully comment on how well it compares to other styli. - It times out it you forget to turn it off! You can tell if it is awake because it has a little green light, which dims after first turning it on. Cons - Itโs a really minor thing, but the charging cable is micro USB and most things these days are USB-C, so I have to remember to take a separate cable in my bag. - The supplied charging cable is annoyingly short, but any micro USB cable would work if it annoys you as much as it does me. Ultimately, although I canโt comment on longevity, itโs a great pen at a really competitive price point. Iโm delighted with it.

Brilliant pen, with some caveats - but price is its greatest justification
I compared this pen to my actual Microsoft Surface Pen and it held its own surprisingly well. Pros: 1. This pen is far lighter than the Surface Pen and has an better hand-feel. It makes the pen easier to manipulate as well. 2. The pen comes with two different nibs: 2 hard nibs and 1 soft nib. Personally, I like the soft nib better as it feels more reassuring to know that I'm probably not scratching my screen (though I'm sure the hard nib doesn't scratch the screen). The soft nib of the Ciscle stylus feels almost identical to the soft nib that comes with the real Surface Pen. 3. The Ciscle pen is charged via a micro-USB cable, making it more convenient than the Surface Pen that requires batteries to run. I have yet to test out the battery life of the Ciscle pen vis-a-vis the Surface Pen. 4. The Ciscle Pen attaches to the side of the Surface via a magnetic strip that has the same pull strength as the Surface Pen, so it probably won't fall off easily (given how light it is as well). Cons: 1. The Ciscle Pen lacks the push-down button that is on the top of the Surface Pen, which means two things: a. The eraser function of the Ciscle Pen is a little more trippy - it's located as a button on the side of the pen that also serves a second function as a "right-click" button. So it is possible that you could accidentally erase some of your work when your intention might be to just "right click" and select some text. b. You won't have the shortcut function that clicking or double clicking the top of the Surface Pen can bring up (like Screen Sketch, depending on your settings). Othe comments: 1. The Ciscle Pen's pen nib appears to register as a lighter pressure (and hence thinner lines) when used on drawing apps for the same pressure as I push down with using my Surface Pen. It can either be a pro or a con depending on your preferences, but honestly it can easily be remedied by increasing pressure/ increasing the thickness of the pen. After all, it's better to have a thinner line than to have a fatter line, isn't it? 2. The body of the Ciscle Pen is designed in the exact same shape as the Surface Pen, which means that it's not completely round and has a flat surface on one side of the pen to allow for better grip/ stop the pen from rolling off a table. In summary, for its price, I would say that the Ciscle Pen is a hugely hugely good buy compared to the Surface Pen. It also comes with a 2 year warranty to further seal your confidence in the makers of the Ciscle Pen.

Rivals the official pen and sometimes beats it.
*Tested using my Surface Pro 4 i5, all comparisons are to the official Microsoft Surface pen* Feel and experience: So, I've been using the pen comfortably a week now and from the moment I picked it up I knew it was going to be good. It's light, really light, but feels like it's made of the same brushed metal that the MS Pen is made from, its got a durable quality feel without the excessive weight. The included nibs are a bonus, I prefer the softer tipped nib and my matte screen protector, gives the feel of a fineliner or micron marker. I use Clip Studio Paint as my drawing software of choice and in this software I honestly couldn't tell the difference between the two pens, I compared them line for line, circle for circle and the accuracy and latency was spot on, so full marks on the tracking and speed. The pressure sensitivity is fantastic, going from 2048 levels to the 4096 this offers makes a world of difference when doing lines that shift in weight. Again full marks. Battery and Charging: I've charged it once for around an hour and it's lasted me all week and is still running, I'm not sure how long the battery will last but I've used it for 3 separate 4+ hour designs, so I can safely say 1 hour of charge got me at least 12 hours of use and likely many more, considering you can charge this directly from the surface chargers additional USB port or just from the Surfaces single type A port it's incredibly convenient, more so than carrying a spare AAAA battery like with the MS surface pen, the downside of the charging port is that you don't have an eraser on the end of the pen which brings me to my next point Shortcut buttons and ease of use: While you lose out on the passive eraser tip of the surface pen you don't lose it entirely, it's swapped for a dedicated eraser button, one of two buttons on the pen, the other is defaulted to right click but many programs will let you alter this behavior, a handy feature to have and I'd take a button hold and recharging features over an eraser tip and batteries any day. The pen automatically shuts off after 15 minutes of being idle unused, while this can be a jarring experience if you're used to the MS 'always on' behaviour of the surface pen, it takes only a little adjustment period, the pen is turned on by clicking the side buttons (eraser or rightclick, doesn't matter they both wake it up) I started to think of it as clicking a ballpoint pen before I started to write/draw with it and got used to it in no time at all, it also requires absolutely no setup, as soon as its on put pen to... ummm screen? and it away you go, no Bluetooth pairing required, even on its first run because this is a Windows ink stylus, it just works right out of the box. The pen magnetised to the side of the Surface the same as the official pen does and it holds just as well. Conclusion: The build quality is fantastic, the ergonomics and weight are an improvement over the official Microsoft offering, the performance is easily on par or better, it's got the same core features along with the big bonus of being rechargeable, lighter and cheaper by far. You may be concerned buying from a smaller name like Ciscle but give it a few years, I think they'll be a household name like Wacom or Huion

THIS PEN SLAPS
Ok so, a while ago, i was looking for surface pen alternatives since id lost my old one and there was NO WAY i was going to spend over 100 pounds on another one, hence sending me on a long research quest to find a cheaper akternative that worked. I found this one and while it took a little adjustment period, i ended up really liking it. As an aspiring artist i was very pleased to see how well it followed the screen and the general accuracy it had when i drew on the screen i think one of the cons of this pen is that it DOES require you to press a tiny bit harder to recieve a thicker line than you have to when using the surface pen, however, this is something you get used to and the pressure needed to write on the screen isn't enough to damage your screen. i only realised how good the pen was when i lost my first one and bought a similar one from a different company (*cough* renaisser surface pen *cough*) and was severely dissapointed with how bad the accuracy on it was. i sent it back and ordered one of these as soon as i realised lmao. Tl:Dr pen good, good accuracy, 3x cheaper than official surface pro pen, all round pretty good.

Better than others with full of features
My original Microsoft Surface Pen was broken 2 weeks ago. I come across to Ciscle's product while I was looking for an alternative surface pen replacement. The seller was so caring as they quickly answered my questions about the product. I was curious about the pen tip, after using it for 3 hours, I can definitely say that Ciscleโs pen is as perfect as the original product. It does not feel irritating during a long period of usage, my right hand was relaxed. Also, the palm rejection feature works very well which has an undeniable contribution to these relaxing usage. Having a rechargeable pen is another appealing feature of the product when compared to the original product. Lastly, price is affordable as the Microsoft one is three times expensive than this. Overall, I am happy that I have had a chance to use this product.

Artists should avoid this
If you use your surface for drawing stay away from this. Ended up buying the official pen because this pen is glitchy and makes drawing very frustrating. For casual use it's okay but not for everyday use.

An affordable Apple Pencil for a Surface !!
Firstly this stylus is built like a Tank, its super sturdy It has the feel of an Apple Pencil, its slimmer, has some heft to it and feels like a Pencil in real life. I prefer this over the OG Surface Pen which feels like holding a Whiteboard Marker in real life. The buttons are really tactile but the placement is very different from the Surface Pen. The Button near the tip is for erase and the button behind it is for a Right Click. Long time Surface users might miss the erase with the back of the pen, but its not an issue as I got used to it pretty fast. Pros of this stylus: 1. It is rechargeable (via MicroUsb) 2. Writes and feels like a dream (No latency) 3. No pairing Required and works straight out of the box 4. You get Extra Tips inside the packaging 5. Attaches Magnetically and is pretty strong Magnet ( I could pull my Surface Go with the Pen attached) 6. Saves Battery by going to sleep due to inactivity 7. Half the price of the First Party Accessories (Surface Pen and the Extra Tips) The cons are that: 1. The buttons are non remappable 2. There are buttons for quick gestures(Windows Ink, Sticky Notes, etc) 3. There is no way to see the battery Percentage.( Would be great if there was a first party software for remapping) 4. Prefer USB C for charging over Micro USB.(Newer Surface Devices have shifted to USB C like in the GO/Pro 7 and Book 2). 5. After it goes to sleep due inactivity, it does'nt go active until we press any button on the device.
