Use regularly and you won't have fleas
Ive been using this stuff for YEARS!! it takes a bit to kill ALL the fleas, but once you get on a regular schedule of applications All the fleas and eggs die. It's super easy to apply and if you use it properly and safely use it you won't have any issues (unless your pet has allergies then you have to shop around) but honestly I have nothing but good things to say about this stuff for your pets and the price is amazing!!💕 I have 4 pets, 2cats and 2 very large boys. (German shepherd-white one, and a GermanS/wolf mix-black one)

Bad reviews on this are basically a misunderstanding
The problem with the reviews that i see is people dont understand how Fipronil works. As a retired 25+yr vet tech who was part of the control group when they invented these products i can say there seems to be a HUGE misunderstanding on how this product works. This product will not give you the quick kill like Advantage does when a flea comes in contact with it. If your pet has horrible flea allergies (like some of the photos ive seen people post here) or is infested then use Advantage (or the generic for it). NOTE: Fipronil will cause an INCREASE in flea activity until they run out of energy and die. It can cause fleas to bite during this excitement period. This does not mean there are more fleas or the product isnt working, its quite the opposite. Why do i use this instead of Advantage ? Several reasons: 1) It is held in the sebaceous glands and re-applies itself after a bath, swimming or rain. 2) it lasts up to 3 months, a little less if you bathe the pet. 3) the s-methaprene an environmental egg desiccating product and translocates to all corners of the room after a few hours, turning your pet into a walking flea egg/larva killer. Tips: Bathe your pet first and let them thoroughly dry prior to application. Wash all bedding in hot soapy water. If it seems like youre seeing more fleas then the product is working. IF you want a fast kill, use advantage or the generic form. If you want a longer term solution that cuts out 3 of the 4 stages of a fleas life cycle, use Fipronil.

Shocked by how quickly it worked!
I'm blown away by how well, and quickly this product works! I have 3 Great Danes, after 5 years of no fleas, 2 of my babies had a flea infestation so bad they were losing their hair from it. I got this on Prime days, figuring anything was better then nothing. I haven't seen a flea since it was applied! Fur is almost completely grown back, and they will continue to get this as their new monthly routine!

Quality control needs a lot of help
I’ve purchased this flea treatment for my large dogs multiple times in the past, and it has always worked well. Unfortunately, my most recent order was very disappointing. The vials contained only a couple of drops of liquid each — far less than previous batches. I assumed it might be a new, more concentrated formula, so I went ahead and applied it. Within days, my dogs were heavily infested with fleas again. This has been a complete waste of money and left my pets suffering. Very unhappy with the quality control on this batch from Amazon Basics. I hope they address this issue quickly.

Didn't work for me
We recently had an INVASION of fleas where I live... don't understand it; it's a rural area with houses many hundreds of feet apart, and the closest critter population to speak of are the cattle across the street. Despite this, it seems like there were suddenly 50 fleas per square foot of outdoors, and they all found my dog. It may just be this particular crop of fleas, because in the past I have had great success with permethrin to combat fleas, ticks, scorpions, and whatever other pests need to be dealt with. Although I used enough permethrin to kill a rattlesnake, it didn't faze these creatures at all, and neither did these drops. So again, I assume that this year's crop of fleas has some sort of immunity to the stuff that normally kills them, but whatever the case, this product did NOT work. I bathed my Shepherd with flea shampoo, applied the drops as directed once he was thoroughly dry, and as soon as he was back outside, he was covered with fleas. I think I finally got things under control with a product I got at a local "tractor" supply store and applied to the yard... an acre and a half, with a hand sprayer... which FINALLY took affect after it rained and pushed the product into the soil, but the product that worked amazingly well was the PetArmor Capaction pills. Although they don't prevent reinfestation, they literally had the fleas abandoning the dog within about half an hour of administration.

It works on extra large dogs
We have Great Pyrenees with double coats and this year we have had issues with fleas. They wear a name brand long working collar also. We don’t use the internal medications because two have seizures since puppy’s. This worked amazingly well, we were thinking it’s just more money down the drain, but no! This will be our go to, to always have on hand, especially during the warm months. Great price and 6 doses. It works.

I normally don’t buy un-named flea meds…
So typically, I would spend an arm and a leg buying either Frontline or AndvanTix (Advantage kills the fleas and eggs/larvae plus it also fights off ticks) and I have never diverged from this rule. (You get what you pay for. ) Money was tight that month so I decided to give the Amazon brand a try. Especially because I somehow got stuck with a second large dog-the bigger the breed, the prices the monthly treatments are! What was once a three month supply, became less than two. I noticed no icky smell, like with the other two. They tend to have a chemically smell to them and it lingers on the fur. It keeps their back greasy, for at least a day and it can get on the furniture or the carpet or even the worse, the dog can get curious and begin licking it off if it is on there too long. This brand had none of these inconvenient side effects. It wasn’t greasy, didn’t linger and was easy to use. The quicker you can put it on, the less the dog fights with you; making its functionality nearly perfect. I also noticed there have been no ticks on either pet. So for the price I paid, and even though it’s only been a month-so far, so good. I will update in three months if anything bad comes to pass… but so far, I’m extremely happy with this product. Never thought I’d stray from the name brand. But you get tired of paying $70-100 for less than two months. And so for me, this was a no brainer. I recommend anyone wanting to save a few bucks, without losing out on quality and especially if you hate that smell that comes with the other stuff, to try this out for your pet.
