I bought this after accidentally scratching the acrylic window visor covers on my vehicle, and I was honestly surprised by how well it worked. Following the instructions and using the different polishing compounds, the scratches became nearly impossible to see. It brought the plastic back to a clear, glossy finish without leaving any haze. It does take a little time and elbow grease, but the results were absolutely worth it. If you’ve scratched plastic window visors, headlight lenses, or other clear plastic surfaces, I’d definitely recommend giving this kit a try.

I found this product using AI. I have a handful of solar lights that light up the front of my house. I've had them for probably 8 or 9 years. They still charge up and work well but the lenses have become quite milky. I took a picture of the lenses and put it into AI and it suggested this product. My expectations were low but I figured it wasn't terribly expensive so I would try it. I figured I would have to take all of the lights out of the flower bed and do them one at a time which seem like a real pain. I pulled the 1st 1 out and use the fine scratch remover and with just 1 or 2 easy passes it really cleaned up beautifully. I could see all of the LED lights underneath the lands. No elbow grease, as easy as Windex on her window. I was very surprised. I then used the protectant on it and it looked great. I just took a little bit on a paper towel and went around to all of the other lights and just did a very light Passover and a lot of film came off of each. I also did the solar collector part of the light, and that cleaned up very nicely as well. Then of course I found many things such as the lens on my bicycle lights, the reflectors at the end of my driveway, and my doorbell camera lenses. I must say it was very satisfying. All of them came out much cleaner. I didn't use the heavy scratch remover as I did feel there were any heavy scratches. But this product did everything it said it was going to do. It exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend it. Once it works on one thing it was like eating one potato chip. I found 12 other things that it did a good job on. Seems gentle enough not to scratch even gentle surfaces and certainly works. Highly recommend.

I searched for eyeglass lens scratch repair, and this product came up several times, both as individual bottles and as this 3 bottle kit. So, naturally, I ordered it with excitement! It took a whole to get around to using it, but finally, today, the moment arrived. I tried the #2, and noticed it didn’t do much for the fine scratches on my lenses. So I bumped up to the #3 bottle, polished, and noticed that the scratches seemed more noticeable. So as per the instructions, I applied the solution again and again - scratches still boldly on display. So then I went back down to #2, and when complete, I finished w/ #1. Now my glasses are MORE scratched than when I started. Yes, I used a SOFT cloth - the one that came w/ the product. Then I repeated the process w/ a microfiber cloth, just to make sure. The scratches (old & new) are still there, and only NOW do I see in fine print at the bottom of the back label: Not recommended for use on eyeglasses. Ahhh - okay. Thank you Novus, thank you Amazon, and thank you, silly Teo, for not reading all of the instructions meticulously. Now it’s time to replace these glasses… Do yourself a favor and get another product

Work okay for what I was trying to use it for. I was trying to restore my grinding face shields. Wouldn't get all scratches out but did make them usable a few more times before I had to order now ones. Good product I'm sure works great for other items. Just not the product I was looking for.

Probably as cost effective to use old fashioned rubbing compound on my UTV windshield. Tried to take out pitting and spent more time trying to remove the product than worth it. Ended up using turtle wax and took care of the leftovers. Not recommended.

NOVUS-PK1-2 Plastic Clean & Shine #1, Fine Scratch Remover #2, and Heavy Scratch Remover #3 was recommended by the manufacturer of my Harley windshield for maintenance and cleaning. I used it to clean, buff, and protect a brand new shield, and my brother also used it on an older Harley shield that had much heavier scratches and wear. To my surprise, it removed around 90% of the scratches from his older windshield, only leaving a few of the deeper marks behind. For how rough his shield was, I would definitely call that a win. It does take some elbow grease to really work the product in, and my arm was definitely feeling it afterward, but the results were worth it. Long-term protection will tell the full story, but so far I have nothing but good things to say. Side note, after opening and using the polish bottle, it would not seal back correctly and would leak if not stored upright. I found a small imperfection in the bottle itself. I contacted the vendor and with only a couple quick emails back and forth they immediately sent out a replacement bottle without making me return the whole kit. Could not ask for much better customer service than that. If this stuff continues to hold up against bug impacts and regular riding cleanup, I will be even more impressed over time.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but this product actually worked really well for me. I used a non-scratch sponge on the tail light of my truck to get paint off of it and ended up with a rough area of surface scratches. I bought the NOVUS kit hoping it would rectify my mistake and I was pleasantly surprised after only about 20 mins of a little elbow grease. Very surprised how well it worked for me.

I highly recommend NOVUS-PK1-2 for restoring clarity to a Ring faceplate. I accidentally left the protective film on my Ring camera for over a year, and when it finally bubbled and peeled, it left behind true etching — not adhesive residue — and a cloudy, distorted view. Using Solution #2 (Fine Scratch Remover) exactly as instructed, I was able to restore the lens window in just a minute or two. The improvement was immediate and dramatic. This kit is a great value and far simpler than replacing the faceplate, and certainly far cheaper than replacing the entire Ring unit. It even comes with disposable polishing cloths, so you have everything you need to get started right away. If your Ring faceplate looks hazy or etched, this is absolutely worth trying.
