Good for the price
Dog toys are like safecracking. Safes are not rated by "prevents safecracking" or "susceptible to safecracking" they are rated in hours. Every safe will eventually give up the goods, it is simply a matter of time.No dog toy lasts forever. It is simply a matter of how much abuse it can take before giving up the stuffing. Some reviews talk about how cheaply this toy is made. Meh. For the price, my terrier gets a few months before I need to replace it. And I have to - she picked this specific toy at a pet store and I cannot find it at retail anymore. When it is time to replace it, I buy from Amazon and she goes nuts playing with it after going without for a few days after throwing out the old one. This toy brings her much happiness and is worth every penny. Not the greatest quality, but this dog toy has good value.

This one didn't last as long as the others
Had some pretty good luck with goDog toys in the past with one of our labs who's a fairly agressive chewer. I buy these knowing they're going to get destroyed because I honestly think that's part of the fun for him. I usually hope for a week or two out of them before their demise, this one didn't last as long as some of our previous goDog plushes and only made it two days.

Lab approved
We have bought several various types of these toys and my lab loves them. She often just carries them around the house then starts "squeaking them" to get our attention. I would not give to a heavy chewer as these are stuffed toys with squeakers. My lab doesn't chew them but just squeaks them and throws them around if not carrying them.

Great Toy but not chew proof
I think any stuffed toy that claims to be chew proof is full of BS.. let’s be honest it’s not going to happen. Our dog seems to really enjoy this brand and they do hold up fairly well. One of her favorite things to do is pull all the stuffing out and shake the carcass around flinging the left over stuffing all over the place. No big deal.. it’s a dog toy, we didn’t make the purchase because we thought it would last forever. I am however disappointed that the toy we received had no squeaker. Having purchased at least 3 different toys from this manufacture, I can say this is not the normal.. very disappointed to be sent a defective one through Amazon though as normally we’ve gotten these from the store.

Nice toy not chew proof
15 minutes later after opening it. But my pup is tough on all toys is why I bought it.

Great for most dogs
I love these squeaky plushies. Every dog I've had, up until now, has enjoyed them for a long time and they're machine washable. Unfortunately I have a super chewer now and he gets these open in 5 minutes. So as long as your pets aren't crazy super chewing freaks like my Zinger, it's a terrific product.

Best Toy I’ve Ever Bought For My Dogs
We have eight dogs at home and have bought several toys to entertain them. Nothing has held up until we bought a few goDog dinosaur plush pet toys. For our nervous dogs with abandonment issues, these toys are an absolute comfort for them. We recently went on vacation and left several of our pups with family and sent their beloved triceratops toys with them and it helped smooth over the transition. They are virtually chew proof and highly recommend these for any breed, age, or size of dog.

LOVE this brand. Have many of their styles. This is basically an unstuffed toy.
I have about 10 -12 different styles of the GoDog brand toys. It is like Xmas when my Malinois dogs get a new GoDog toy. Have loved this brand for many years and have some toys which have lasted 5-6 years -- minor "surgeries" stitch they back together -- until I retired them. They have never just worn out. Just to be clear:THESE TOYS ARE NOT CHEW PROOF. NO STUFFED TOY IS CHEW PROOF.However, this brand of stuffed toy is more chew proof than other brands. But if you are looking for a chew proof stuffed toy be advised -- IT DOES NOT EXIST!! No fabric is chew proof. Even if they invented such a fabric I would not want to ruin my dog's teeth by letting them try to chew through it. Protecting one's dog's teeth should be the highest priority. If a dog can chew through a PLASTIC KENNEL and even METAL WIRE KENNELS (yes, it happens) then they can easily chew through a puffy, fluffy stuffed toy. The "Chew Guard Technology" language may be misleading to some customers who are disappointed in the brand. I defend the brand and have used it for many years. No, I don't get paid or get free toys.Since I have had many styles within this brand and even have the pink version of this style I thought I knew what I was getting. This is basically a toy without stuffing which some people prefer. For whatever reasons my dogs prefer toys that are stuffed. Really stuffed with a firm density that they can sink their teeth into. So this toy will be OK. I can tell it will not be one of their beloved toys like some of the brand's other styles such as the purple brontosaurus. My fault for not reading more closely and assuming the grey version would be exactly like the pink version which is fully stuffed. If they get bored with these two I keep some of the Chew Guard toys stock piled.BTW one can wash and dry these toys. Yes, eventually the squeakers suck up some water and die but one can replace the squeakers. Also on Amazon. So I am willing to replace the squeakers a few times in the life time of one of these toys to be able to wash and dry them occasionally. Usually takes a couple drying cycles to get the heavily stuffed toys dried completely. If you have an aggressive chewer you may wish to look into Goughnuts dog toys or other hard rubber toys that are designed for aggressive chewers. Even then, with a determined dog, the Goughnuts toys can be chewed through. I think they offer a replacement guarantee. The other brand which has some toys of hard rubber is West Paw. An excellent brand that also offers a one time replacement. Bully Sticks are another option for chewers.PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE stay away from the hard plastic chew toys like the Nyla Bones. Hard plastic toys will destroy your dog's teeth over time. I learned the hard way (no pun intended) and ruined one of my dog's teeth. Vet asked if I allowed my dog to chew ROCKS !!!!!! Every tooth was cracked or fractured. Not wishing to pull teeth I had to pay for some very expensive root canals and caps. Vet's advise: If you can't dent the toy or chew with your finger nail DO NOT offer to your dog. Good advise to follow. Even some of the Bully Sticks (Costco Brand) are so hard they can chip or fracture teeth.Best for you and your dog.

Dog Usually Destroys Toys in Minutes but NOT THIS ONE!!
I have been looking for a soft toy for my cockapoo for 3 years. Every soft toy O have bought her she has destroyed in a minutes of having it. Chewing the ears off/chewing of the tail and eventually in 30 minutes she has already started pulling the stuffing out of it.This is not the case with the toy. She loves it and has had it since Christmas and only has a little rip in the spines on the edge of the big frill like thing on its head. She doesnt play gently with it she proper tugs on it and chews it like she is trying did with the other toys. This is the only one that has ever lasted more than a day. I definitely recommend this to any dog owner. Wish they did more styles so I could buy different animals for her.

Too expensive and hard to find now
I have had these for several years now, the low fill and tough fabric makes them tug of war proof, although not chew proof, they last for months where others are shredded in minutes, but they are not on sale in UK now, this means what few I can source come from overseas and are horrendously expensive, £45 for something that was £12 five years ago, and is a dog toy, is extortionate, so sadly I will not be buying again, trouble is there is nothing else as good.

Don’t waste money
I chose this hoping that it would last longer than others my dog has had - nope! I timed her and within 7 minutes she had chewed into it and was starting to pull the stuffing out! I’ve bought her 2 of the pink dragon go dog toys and they do last a little longer (I think one went almost 2 days before dissection started lol!)I’m glad I didn’t pay full price. My dog loves soft toys so we are trying different brands, she does have lots of hard toys but soft ones are her favourites - she’s a Cypriot rescue so we’re not 100% sure of her breed, but she definitely has Jack Russell in her and she’s 1 year old.

MED-BIG DOG OWNERS DONT BOTHER
I also bought the large pink dragon ages ago.. and much like this “bullet proof” bs, it was ruined within LITERAL MINUTES.My Great Dane is a year old. He loves stuffed toys and he loves stealing ones he’s not meant to have. So hey let’s spend a million dollars on a BULLET PROOF MATERIAL MADE TOY?! No no no... he’ll pull the stuffing out right away and eat the “BULLETPROOF” outsides. This happened within the 5 minutes of opening the box.. saying “look a new toy Basil!” And washing my hands..So, I’d love a refund!! But, I’ve not got much left to return as whatever flavour your “nearly indestructible, bulletproof, long lasting”, garbage ass toy your selling is now in my dogs stomach.

Not Indestructible
I have a 7 month old heavy chewer and we get through a lot of toys. This one lasted 15 mins before she got a hold in it. What I did like though there isn't much stuffing which she got out, the squeeker was then easy to remove but also the material didn't fall apart. So she currently has a flat furry toy which she likes and I haven't had to throw straight in the bin.
