Read this, and then go on your own pond walk
This is a really excellent book to read with toddlers and preschoolers before going on your own pond walk. It will inspire kids and their grown-ups to look for things in nature they might otherwise not have thought to look for. The nonfiction information is accessible to young children, and they will be able to relate to the young bear as he explores the world around him.

I have read this twice so far with my granddaughter and she loves the story. The only problem is when reading on the Kindle, you have to slide through all the pages to start again...at least it's a small book! Sweet story about a little bear who receives a package in the mail from his grandfather and the adventure it sends him on. We plan on a little garden for my granddaughter this spring.

Very cute story
This is a very cute and engaging story, especially for little ones that love to explore nature. Educational too & even has a craft project at the end that my 4 year old son & I enjoyed doing together!

This is a lovely story, I just wish it could have presented as a regular Kindle book.
