Excellent moisturizing soap
My first experience purchasing and using Peet Bros. Palm Oil-Free Shea Butter Bar Soap was an excellent one. It is a large bar of soap that smells so wonderful I loved the scent, I got the Argan and Sandalwood. It has an excellent lather. I first tried on my hands and it did not dry out my skin or make it feel tight in any way. I then took a shower with it and my entire body felt fresh and clean with no residue. I highly recommend this soap. It is a fantastic product.

Great Soap and Palm Oil Free
I was worried that this soap may smell too strong but I was pleasantly surprised. It smells nice, makes a great lather, and leaves your skin feeling soft. The best part of all is I can use this soap and be happy that I made a very small contribution to saving the orangutans and other animals and creatures of the rainforests of Asia. I highly recommend this soap and the moisturizing lotion from the same company.

Beautiful smell and very moisturizing
The first thing I noticed was the smell, a beautiful sandalwood that was subtle, not strong. The soap suds up very easily, had to stand there for a minute and just smell them. Being a body wash person for longer than I remember, using this soap was better than I remembered. Afterward, my skin was left very smooth and soft, not dry and itchy. That’s got to be due to the soap being made with 25% more Shea Butter. You’ve got to try this, it has no Parabens or artificial fragrances. I think you’ll love it.

Scent is like ashes
This is supposed to be unscented but I found the scent quite off-putting - a bit like cigarette ashes. That said, I didn't use it so don't know if the smell would linger on your body but decided that for the money, it should smell at least pleasant coming out of the box! Returned.I had trouble locating the ingredient list before I purchased it so I have attached a photo of it in case I'm not the only one!The soap is quite oily to the touch.

Can't go wrong
Shea butter soap is always amazing. I've posted about a few different soaps. I'm not sure how my parents liked it. Theirs was discontinued. I know if I got this, I'd be happy.

What a Great Scent!
The soft aroma was wonderfully inviting, similar to the scent of being in a spa. I chose the argan & sandalwood shea butter because it sounded interesting to me.When opened, the packaging was simple. Exactly the same on the amazon website pictures. The sent of the sandwood was stronger than the argan, but they both make a great scent pair and the size of the bar was thick. I like that. After using it the first time, the moisturizing bath soap left a silky soft feeling on my skin. The scent stayed on longer than most soaps. My family gave me a compliment due to the nice aroma on my body. The next day I sued the soap on my legs to shave and they gave me a result of a smooth feeling. almost better then product Nair, except without the bad after smell. On the contrary the scent of argan and sandwood really made a difference.I have been using it since and I like this product. I would recommend the Peet Bros. Shea Butter to men and women. I am excited to try the other products.

Very nice soap, subtle scent
I was happy to find this vegan soap and am really pleased with it. It is fairly priced and lathers well. The sandalwood is not as strong in that it makes the bathroom smell, but it is a very nice smell once you use it. Scent doesn't stay on skin.

Peet Bros reduced the % of Shea Butter
I started purchasing Peet Bros wonderful shea butter bar soaps directly from their website during the pandemic. Though it was challenging to keep them from getting goopy with all the hand washing, the soap was extremely gentle and non-drying on my aging dry skin. I continued purchasing, but recently noted changes in the appearance of the bars (more compact), and my hands seemed to be a bit drier than they used to be. As there had been a little inconsistency in their product from time to time, I chaulked it up to a minor blip.Recently, Peet Bros was out of stock of the unscented shea butter bath bars, so I did a search and purchased two bath bars from Amazon. The new bath bars have subtly different packaging, which led me to look more closely:* The bath bars, while still identified as 7 ounces, are still thinner than they used to be.* A few years ago, the shea butter ("sodium shea butterate") was listed as the 2nd ingredient after "sodium sunflowerate"; an [alkali] vegetable fatty acid "sodium myristate" was listed 5th. With the new bars, sodium myristate is the 2nd ingredient, and shea butter[ate] is listed 4th.* In the prior formulation, shea butter is proudly noted as comprising 25% of the bar. Now, shea butter is only 10%.-- No wonder I've been having drier skin! Alas, this will likely be my last Peets Bros bath bar purchase as I will once again be on the search for a more moisturizing product that lacks palm oil.
