My joy is immeasurable
I just got this music player recently so I can't say much for battery life, connectivity, durability, or anything like that, but my joy is already seriously immeasurable. YOU CAN PROGRAM LYRICS ON THE SCREEN, like, I'm a grandma when it comes to technology, and even I can do it with ease. Being able to put in the lyrics is awesome! I'm sure there's tons of devices that do that automatically, but I'm a grammar Nazi, and I'm a stickler for sticking to the actual lyrics, not interpretations, not best guesses. So if I see a grammatical error, I can change it. I can also program in, for the songs that are in a different language, both the original lyrics and the English translation. And you can put in the time stamps that you want the lyrics to appear on screen too, so you can space the lyrics out, crunch them together, whatever you want! It's awesome! IT COMES WITH SO MANY ACCESSORIES! It comes with a surprisingly well-made case to put over it, headphones, plug in, and a super awesome thing to wear it around your neck! That's awesome for me because I'm clumsy as all h*ll and drop things so easily. I prefer having things around my neck than in my pockets or on my arms or wrists, classic goth choker type of person. DID I MENTION IT COMES WITH HEADPHONES? Who does THAT in this day and age?! I don't even care if they're cheap airplane headphones, this MP3 player is already pretty cheap AND it comes with a case and headphones. In an age where capitalism reigns and everyone is trying to bleed as much cash out of people as possible, that's impressive! It's huge! I love it! The sound is great, too! Granted, I'm not picky with video or audio quality most of the time. I know some people can be super sensitive to audio and video quality. I'm pretty good at tuning out other sounds or fuzziness to the point where I just don't notice it unless I really, really focus. My joy is immeasurable and my day has been made.

Really outstanding product for what it is and perfect for me.
Felt the need to write a review, I've had this product for about two months now and I'm very happy with it. I took a decent amount of time trying to figure out which product would be best, and ended up rolling the dice on this one and it's great. As a deprecated itunes user (lol) it was important to have a physical device that I could store all my mp3s on. To that end, I also had no need for internet connectivity/apps, and merely wanted a device that could connect to my pc and that I could put files on to play my mp3s (the alarm, stopwatch functionality etc. were all fine as that is pretty common even with non-smart wrist watches). It does just what I want it to, and does it well. I use this thing twelve hours a day right now at work, and the battery gets me through about two and a half work days gracefully, and it charges super fast, like full charge in less than 30 minutes. Thing is a beast and that's probably because it doesn't have a bunch of functionality that I wouldn't use for example if it needed to connect to services all the time that would probably be a huge drain. I love that once I start playing something, if that album or playlist or finishes, it will continue playing other music until I tell it to stop, which is nice so I don't have to mess with it all the time, and of course it's usually a mix of stuff I was playing previously (probably just randomizer). In terms of making playlists it looks like you can even do that through the interface by adding one song at a time, but I prefer to just make a folder on my desktop and add the files to that then copy them to the device (from reading previous reviews, it seemed like some people were having issues with that but maybe they were not very tech-savy as it is no different than copying files to a usb). I have not had any bugs or random restarts, so that has been nice. The hard protective case it comes with works well, and that was a selling point for me as other devices did not have hard cases. I did not give it five stars merely because of course improvements can always be made, for it's size it is really impressive how well thought out it is, and how well it sticks to the basics which are really what you should be pushing with something like this and it knocks that out of the park. The ui, while it would be nice to have bigger, would then require the device to sacrifice some of its slimness and lightness to improve on that front, and to me I prefer to trade something like that for what this device is which is a product that can fit in my shirt pocket and is incredibly light. With that point in mind, I would point out that given the size of the screen, the touch screen functionality is way more precise and well tuned than I expected. All in all, great device for someone like me who has mp3/flacs, and it even has radio. I think the price point is great for the value here and the one thing that I will have to wait and see is if the battery stands the test of time but if it can hold stable for maybe 6 months I would not have a problem with justifying subsequent purchases. For its size, I don't think a replaceable battery would be feasible but maybe.

Okay, WOW!!
I work a 9hr job on my feet all day which goes hand in excruciating hand with having to hear nothing but beeping, scanners and machines whirring the whole time. Where I work, we cant have music/ music players, cellphones or anything that i guess could "distract" us. The type of person I am, though, music helps me thrive. I get a lot of stress and pain in my legs and feet and I definitely need a distraction to get me through the work day, so out of desperation, I bought this mp3 player. The reviews do NOT do this little guy justice. It comes with earbuds, a plastic case and a thing you can hold it in around your neck, though I dont know how to use it. Downloading music and transferring it to the mp3 player is easy as pie. No extra externals need to be set up, downloaded or updated. Just plug the cord to your computer and the other end to your mp3 player and click and drag your music files to the player and youre done! Its super easy to navigate with its touch screen, and the bluetooth is also easy to set up! And it has a decently loud speaker too. It comes with 2 predownloaded songs though which arent that great, All Rise by Blue and Yesterday Once More by Carpenters. They have the lyrics on screen too, so thats neat. The battery life LASTS. even after 9 hours of it constantly playing, the battery level didnt even flinch. And its tiny!! As you can see in the pictures, its a little bigger than the average medicine cup. The 3D render of it is a little bigger than the actual device, which ive also added a picture of. I tuck my earbuds in my hoodie and I tuck the player in the back of my headband and cover it with my hair. It has a ton of storage too. I have downloaded about 200 songs (and have about 1,000 more to go!) And theres 14,953MB left of 15,725MB. It has a built in FM radio and a pedometer too. It has Ebook, video, mp4 capabilities. All in all, this thing gets the job done and its a really good purchase. Cant wait to see how it holds up!

Very basic, ultimately disappointing.
The very first thing I noticed when I received the MP3 player was how small it is. The images did not give me the impression that this thing was going to be the size of a Tamagotchi from the 90s. While that isn't necessarily that big of an issue, I have thick fingers and having to try to navigate the touchscreen interface on a screen the size of a postal stamp is a little ridiculous. That being said, the player worked perfectly fine, the sound quality was good, the bluetooth gave me some issues with my car, but connected to speakers and earbuds just fine. It reads a number of different audio file types. The video file types was a bit more confusing, and I still haven't found the right one to play videos, but it was never that important to me, because who wants to watch videos the size of a half dollar anyway? After I got the player, my headphones at the time died on me so I purchased some new ones that proceeded to stop working two days in, and I could only replace them for another set, which I did. A month into those, they stopped working. I thought, given the first pair, that they had just died and decided to cut my losses and throw away the headphones and spend the money to get a good pair. I realized my mistake when I later attempted to plug the mp3 player into the audio cord in my car, only to find that it wouldn't play the music through the car. It wasn't the headphones, the AV jack port on the player itself had gone out, and I have only had this thing for a few months (though long enough that my return window has officially closed). All in all, it's not a terrible device for the price of it, but you certainly get what you pay for.

Decent player at a decent price
Let's get the negatives out of the way, Bluetooth is flaky times, file access is flaky at times, and battery will barely last through an 8 hour work day. The main menu of the interface is fine, plenty of big icons and easy to operate, the problem comes when you pick a category, the print is far too small for the resolution of the screen. I know I'm old and my eyes aren't perfect, but seriously, even with reading glasses it can be a challenge to read the menus. The text isn't sharp, and the colours, especially the red don't stand out from the background well. The battery doesn't last all that long, but then again, that's eight hours of Bluetooth connectivity in a small player that has to have a tiny battery, so while that's less than I want, ten to twelve would be better, it works in most situations. Bluetooth often struggles to connect, and sometimes despite being connected, it's not really connected, with the music breaking up and sometimes cutting out entirely. Still, my last similarly priced player's Bluetooth completely failed in less than a month, so mostly (90% of the time or so) working several months later? That's certainly an improvement. At times I'll go to play my music and it'll throw out a disk error. The good news is that usually the second time I try, it'll work fine, and there's no sign that it's losing files or anything, it just doesn't always work. In the end, the only real negative I can say about it is that shuffling the entire collection of music is way harder than it needs to be, that option is buried deep in the menu and in an rather unusual place. The player has adequate volume, and the sound quality seems to be good, though it's not like I'm pairing it with anything that has any serious fidelity. It'll usually make it through a work day or close enough to it. Frankly I'd say at the price point, you're unlikely to find any better choice, it certainly feels like I'm getting my money's worth out of it, even if I'd like more.

Tiny can be Great
What a deal for $33! Audio, video, bluetooth, little ebook reader, other apps. Even plays my high quality flac and sound is decent. I am not sure what others were expecting, but for this price, little players like this are an amazing deal I think. Just got it so I cannot speak to longevity, but so far so great.

Workable alternative if you cannot use your phone
Most cell phones allow you to download as much (or more) music as this device and often a cell-phone can be had for about the same cost. But if you work in an area that prohibits cell phones/cameras, this is a good way to bring your music. The user interface is clunky and challenging to work with if you have hundreds of songs, but it does play the music. If you use wired headphones, you can listen thru a full 12-hour shift. If you use the bluetooth option (which DOES WORK), the battery will only last about 8 hours. You probably shouldn't bother buying an extra memory card for this, the built-in 32gigs will store a LOT of music and it's hard enough navigating that many songs, let alone trying to figure out what music is on the card vs internal storage. The book (e-reader) feature and photo display are completely worthless due to the tiny screen size.

Mp3 touchscreen quit working after 1 day of use
Had it in storage until last week. Put 200+ songs on it . Son used it 1 day .the next morning the touch screen quit working. Tried to reset it several times. Tried to hold the power button in . The touch screen still didn't work. You can't do anything if the screen doesn't work (no buttons but volume). I bought a different mp3 player and connected both mp3 players to the pc copied the music (country) to the new mp3 ( different brand) which has up ,down, left, right ,select buttons on the lower end which has been working fine.

Fantastic mp3 player!
So far battery has been outstanding. I fall asleep at night listening to music and when I wake up next morning it's still going strong with plenty of battery left. Once I figured out how to select a premade EQ setting, the over-all play back sound quality was very satisfying. The size threw me off at first, I thought it was going to be bigger. SUPER happy it was smaller as that's what I wanted! It's a very cool looking little unit and came with a great lanyard strap. It's been very easy to drag and drop songs into this from my laptop, but I can't seem to figure out how to make playlists. The set-up book that comes with it doesn't show you either. But for my usage (walking, going to the gym, sleeping to music) that doesn't really matter as there is only music I love. But if needed, easy to skip song. The shuffle function works great. The internal speaker isn't that great when outside in a noisy environment, but indoors it's fine if you just want a little background music. Overall a outstanding value! I do wish it had just a little more bottom end. So if you want something that has a TON of bass, this might not be a player for you. However, the sound is great and has a clear even sound to it. When paired with my Alexa it sounded very good, although I had to turn Alexa up louder than normal with the JOLIKE turned to full volume. This would be getting a 10 out of 10 from me if it had a bit more bass, an easier way to make playlists and a bit better Bluetooth volume. Besides those VERY minor flaws, I would give this a 9 out of 10. And I would definitely recommend to a friend or buy another one if I some how lose or damage this one.
