Sharp optics even at 45x. While spotting scopes are really not intended for astronomical use, this also makes a very nice cheap scope for the Moon. For it's intended purpose at the range, it is a bargain piece of optics. The tripod is functional although not as stable as others that I have seen recently, such as comes with a friend's 60mm Bushnell.

It’s hard to beat Tasco scope products for the price point !! This scope is very clear and the zoom ( well you can see a pimple on a knats behind at a 100 yards ) !!! All and All I recommend this scope !! The tripod is a little light but works fine.

It's nice and clear up close but when you zoom in the optics really fall short it gets blurry it's hard to see

The image quality is really decent throughout the magnification range. The color is off, looks slightly yellowish, probably from the lens coatings. If you wear glasses, the eye relief at anything above the lowest power (15X) is not enough to keep your glasses on. You can hand hold, barely, to use at 15X, for anything more you need a tripod. The table top one included is pretty limited, get a real one you can use in more placdes.

You can!!!!! see thru this scope on low power barely. Mid and high power IF!!!!! you shove your eye ball to the point you are rubbing the glass with your eye. YOUMAY SEE A SPECK of an image. REAL BAD and totally useless beyond low power. I have had low price spotting scopes before. Never this bad

You get what you pay for. The view is pretty dark so it's relatively rough to see and zoomed in is blurry with no eye relief. Your eye is literally pressed up against the lens.
