What an upgrade over the old stock hose! My Spot Clean Pro had the old clear hose that was dry rotting and turning hard and brittle. It was already so stiff that I couldn't unroll it or even roll back into the hose reel, without having to skip a loop. In fact, it split open when trying to maneuver the brush head. But this upgraded hose is significantly more pliable and even has a swivel at the handle, so less chance for the hose to tear. The hose is also black, so you don't have to see the gross gunk that's accumulated in the hose. The old, clear hose would turn yellow from gunk and age. Installation easy, but it was pretty involved. Do expect to invest an hour at most. My Spot Clean Pro has a lot of screws to remove, and you basically have to get down to the bare bones to access the water supply line clamp. Removing the hose from the barb fitting was the most challenging part, as it was quite firmly on there, but I used a heat gun to soften up the hose.

My hose broke and was leaking water. Install wasn’t too bad after watching YouTube but u will need to basically take apart of the entire unit to install. So far its been working perfectly and “feels” like oem

This hose was exactly as pictured. I ordered another hose from another vendor, as a factory original replacement. This hose is far better. The flexibility is a major upgrade. The fit was spot on to the original hose. One last thing. This was one of the best prices I found.

The price is good, and the quality of this hose is better than the original. The original hose was too stiff and cracked easily. It's important to be careful when winding and unwinding the hose from its dock. I previously replaced the original hose with an OEM version, but that one didn't last long either. I'm going to try this new hose because it is more flexible.

Works as a replacement for my trusty stain cleaner. Clearly not designed for easy replacement, but able to fix my machine and give me a few more years of usefulness out of it.

The biggest problem with the Bissell spot cleaners is the hose. It is stiff and brittle and WILL break. If it breaks in a convenient spot, you can wrap it and keep going. In an inconvenient spot, you're done. People have complained that this replacement hose is too thin and flimsy. Have not been using the new hose for very long but it does the job and its flexibility makes it feel like it will last a long time. All the connections are standard to the original. My previous hose broke within a year or so of use on my Bissell spot clean pro. Had a hard time finding a replacement since no part specifically stated this model. Decided to try this one. Used a YouTube video to show how to install and it fits and works as good as the original. Relatively simple install. Very happy with the purchase.

It is a perfect replacement and a bit longer than the original, which helps reduce stress on connector at the handle.
