Cheap plastic and then customer service disappears
The blade attachment has a plastic thread and this can (and has) fail in a very short period of time. At this point, I discover that the seller 'MyMemory' claims there is only a 6-month warranty although this is not apparent on the listing anywhere and washes hands of the whole thing. They provided contact details for me to follow up with Braun, but these details were only for their personal case products and not their kitchen equipment. Throwing out a perfectly good unit just because of not being able to replace a cheaply manufactured piece of plastic is crazy in an eco-concious world. I would suggest going elsewhere
