More Air = More Power
Normally the top of the air filter is closed; by changing this solid piece to another air filter, K&N provides more air to my engine, resulting in more power. Perfect match for my cowl induction.

you need to include a wingnut.
love it! i see how much better the carburator performes. the only problem was the kit did not come with a wingnut. it had 2 washers and a lock nut.I had to go out and find a carburator threaded rod and a wing nut.

Great product but you must buy the right bottom
This top doesn't fit just any 14 inch filter, it doesn't even fit all K&N 14 inch filters

will not fit most 14" filters
I had a K&N 14" filter on the car already and thought it would fit. Unfortunately it does not.

No dislikes. Used it on my sons 69 Dart 318.

Sits higher than my current lid & received damaged.
Part received damaged on lip. Sits 3/8” higher than my current lid taking away from the distance that I was try to achieve with the drop base.
