As many have written, this provides great increased coverage for both 2.4 and 5.8 signals throughout the house. The instructions are slightly vague however, and it took 4 tries using different configurations to get all the settings right. I found using the mobile setup worked more easily than trying to connect through a desktop, but I'm not super tech savvy so take it for what it's worth.All in all this is a great product for the price and I would definitely recommend it to anyone needing increased wifi coverage.

We have plaster and lathe walls so the reception is spotty from room to room with our wifi. I have a wifi extender in the living room--primarily for the tv and our phones. When my son had to do classroom Zoom meetings though, it froze or buffered a lot from having too many devices on at once. If I had him do them in the dining room, they would be even more spotty in quality of reception. So we got another wifi extender, and it works great. I have a Nighthawk router and it has great speeds released. I tweak our signal and use an app to put it on the best channel and secure it so we know that isn't the problem. So we just got this wifi extender to set up in the dining room where my son prefers to do his Zoom classes, while I am working from the other room. It set up very easily and the instructions were clear how to set up an additional channel. It was pretty easy. The we tested out a Zoom call to his grandparents. It worked so smoothly! There was no buffering or freezing. He even played his streaming game on it and it worked well there too. What a huge relief to get this ready in time for the Fall school year! I recommend this be on this year's school supply list for every parent.

I needed a range extender that would work well through a thick exterior concrete wall for my wifi connected irrigation system. I had tried a different one first (a different brand from a different seller) and it simply didn't work through the wall.I plugged this one in and found setup to be straightforward and easy to understand. Best of all, it worked--and worked very well. Strong signal, no dropouts and now my problem is solved (and I can finally control my sprinkler system from inside my house with my phone).Once set up and plugged in, it is completely hands-free; there is no further maintenance to be done. It just works, as if it were my main wifi router, like an exact mirror. I should note that my house is very large and the distance from the extender to the irrigation system is easily 40 feet, PLUS the signal has to pass through a 10 or maybe even 12 inch thick concrete wall. VERY happy with my purchase!

I needed to boost the signal to a computer on the 2nd floor of a circa 1907 home. It was averaging 15 Mbps or less. This device boosted the signal to approximately 44 Mbps. It was easy to install. I checked the location using the internet speed test at fast.com. I was surprised to find that the best location was near the 2nd floor computer rather than halfway between it and the Wi-Fi router.

I got this because my current wifi extender couldn't reach to the end of my property where I have a small studio (about 60 ft). From the description and the reviews this looked like it would do a better job. It did not. Couldn't go through walls, kept disconnecting and was way slower than my current extender. I am returning.

From the minute this came out of the box it was a pain. The setup instructions look like a breeze but they don't reflect what actually happens. I spent nearly an hour getting the unit to actually connect and be boosting. Well in hind site it may never have been connected because i found no more range than usual. I got this to boost the signal on the pation and i got the same signal strength standing at the window 8 ft from the unit went it was "on" as i did when i unplugged it

I bought this Wi-Fi extender from my barbecue pit. Yes it’s actually a Wi-Fi connected barbecue. My Wi-Fi will not reach from inside my house to the outdoors. Item arrived quickly and I’m very impressed with the transaction.

So far so good! Installation and configuration is a bit complicated but i got it working i guess.I will update my Review after i’m satisfied with everything. Gave it 4 stars because for fast shipping. time will tell!
