I purchased these midget seedless raisins specifically for making raisin bread in my bread machine, hoping that their smaller size would tolerate the mixing better with less tear-up of the raisins. THESE WORK! I have an old Hitachi vertical-loaf machine; Hitachi's have a mix-knead cycle of 23-31 minutes, which is longer than other machines I have used (longer than Zojirushi). So if these raisins will work in a Hitachi, they should work in any bread machine. I have even made raisin bread using the normal cycle, adding the raisins at the beginning of the cycle! I'm going to make my next loaf by loading the machine before I go to bed, using the timer, so I can wake up to the aroma of fresh raisin bread, and enjoy raisin toast with butter. Can it get any better?

These are just small raisins. Every once in a while I bite on a tiny (2mm x 3mm x 5mm) grape seed or a stem and it's a little off-putting. Overall texture is quite dry and crusty. They swell up fine in baked goods and become juicy, but unless you're baking you'll have to deal with a mildly unpleasant dried-out crystallized honey feeling.They arrived in a single plastic bag in a large cardboard box jammed tight all the way to the top, and I had to hack away at the block of raisins with a butter knife in order to dislodge fist-sized pieces to crumble further.

I use them primarily for cooking and baking so the smaller size is a plus. I haven't had them long but so far they have met expectations. I did remove them from the unsealed plastic bag they arrived in transferring them to a large plastic container I had with the overflow in a ziplock bag.

I purchased these raisins for multiple uses. They arrived relatively quickly, however, I was very surprised to find they were in a plastic bag inside the shipping box, and the bag was in no way sealed. No zip strip, no bag tie, nothing! The raisins are very dry and clumped together. I won't buy again.

I use it in my oatmeal every day and as a snack throughout the day.

I like that they're a little smaller for bread so they don't get smashed up as easily. Other than that, they're raisins. What else can you say?

Our ROBINS love raisins on the patio. These small ones are just their size, and the cost is comparable to store bought ones.
