YEHAM 3000Yards/2700M Glow in The Dark Embroidery Thread (Green)

I do like this thread as it's thick enough it does just fine in my machine. It did break once and cause a part of my design to get snagged, but it's not a big deal. The color is nice and the texture once stitched is soft to the touch and not too stiff. The reason I give it 4 stars as opposed to 5 is because of the glow factor. I am a little disappointed at how unnoticeable the glow is, even after "charged" in the sunlight or with a flashlight. The glow is very, very faint. I wish it was brighter since I was excited to use this thread to make a plush doll of my original character that has bioluminescent spots.

I was unable to use the product, my machine only takes small spools. But the value and the product is worth the price.

I've been wanting to buy some glow in the dark thread. I bought this one but didn't realize that it is a big spool so I haven't been able to use it because my machine doesn't have a big spool holder. If you buy it make sure you have a big spool holder.

This thread is cool in theory, but not great in execution. I used it as top thread to quilt a dark quilt, and had a LOT of breakage. It broke at least 7 times during free motion quilting a 72”x72” quilt. After I finished quilting I let it “charge” in the sun for an hour or so then looked at it in the dark and it was very hard to see it glowing, although it was glowing. I don’t know, it is kind of cool to be able to tell people the thread glows in the dark, but I can’t really show people when they ask to see it lol. Might be better for embroidery, but in my experience embroidery has more breakage than fmq.
