Baxton Studio Romy King Size Ash Brown Finished Wood Bed Frame

So we were HESITANT to buy this based on the fact that it only had ONE review… and it was one star. But we thought we’d take the leap because I’ve been looking for this exact bed (but with the headboard) and apparently it’s on a nationwide back order. ANYWAY, this bed is beautiful. My husband put it together by himself in about a half hour, and commented that it seemed to be well made and sturdy. I love the look of the medium toned wood and the minimalist style with the bit of flair on the legs. We put our 18” king mattress right on top (no box spring) and it seems to be doing great. Day 1 lol. Only thing I will say is that there is about 1-2” between the mattress and each edge of the bed, as the previous commenter mentioned. However, once we put the comforter over the mattress you honestly can’t even see it… I think that’s just how It’s designed! Not an issue for me honestly. All in all it seems to be a good option!

this took forever to put together and it's of great quality but it is significantly larger than a king sized mattress. We have several inches of gap between the mattress and frame on the length and width. It honestly looks like a queen mattress on a king frame. I don't know what to do because returning it would mean taking it all apart. This is super disappointing since we also ordered the rattan headboard that goes with it, which is on its way.
