TOAKSTitanium Long Handle Spoon with Polished Bowl

This is the best lightweight backpacking spoon available for getting into those tall freeze dried dinner pouches. Checks all the boxes....lightweight, simple, strong, good mouthfeel, grippy handle. I have used Lexan spoons in the past, but the Toaks Titanium beats those hands down!

The spoons bowl is polished smooth and very nice for your mouth. Perfect for reaching in a backpacking meal pouch and weighs next to nothing. Would buy again

Sturdy enough for me! Smooth bowl is nice. Long handle reaches the bottom of MRE's, canteen cook pots, AND peanut butter jars when they're almost empty! I call that functional.

This might be my new favorite camping item. It's true what they say, it's the little things that make all the difference. I spent years using the cheap MSR and equivelent cheap $.89 plastic ware. They're nice because you can lose them, break them, give them away and it doesn't hurt. But they've never been 'great', just 'okay'. Id always have food on my fingers after getting into a mountain house or backpacker pantry food bag. Food always sticks to them, too, so cleaning is again, just 'okay'. This spoon is lightweight, thin, and long. I dont just use it for eating, I use it for scooping coffee beans into my hand burr grinder, I use it to stir the coffee in the AeroPress. It works great for a lot of things. And another positive that I didn't even know I'd notice or appreciate, the polished end. It's awesome. Nothing sticks to it, and it kinda feels amazing in your mouth, as odd as that sounds.Long review update, still awesome. I ended up buying 2 of the spoons and 2 of the sporks. They all sit flush together with a rubber band and makes an easy and low-profile 2-person "place setting." The spork is good for noodles like ramen, dehydrated spaghetti, fettuccini, et al. I love them both. A bit of an investment over other things that will get the job done but, for the ease of use I find it totally worth it.

Perfect length and angle for a food thermos

This is a great spoon, is lightweight and cleans up very easily. Having a long spoon is nice when eating a dehydrated meal from a bag. I did learn on a recent hiking trip that the polished spoon has a coating that can be destroyed by direct contact with fire which makes the spoon unusable. Be careful about that and this spoon will provide a long life of use on the trail!

Light and durable

This titanium spoon is strong, has real good reach length and is easy to clean. Good to use when getting the last remaining peanut butter out of a large jar. The spork version of this spoon is good for use on frozen icecream.
