Unusable. Won't Sharpen
Neither pencil would sharpen. No matter how dull or blunt I tried to sharpen them, the charcoal would break just below the wood. Ended up sharpening an entire pencil away and never once could I even could I put the pencil to paper before it broke. Tried the second pencil and it started doing the same exact thing.DO NOT BUY THIS. There is a good chance you will never get to use them.

Do not buy.
The pencil crumbled when I sharpened it and even when I used it on paper it barely showed up at all. Very low quality and I won’t be buying again. I hope I get a refund.

Its just a white colored pencil
This a white colored pencil. It's not white charcoal. Using this on charcoal will muddy and smear the charcoal in it's poly blend core. If you need a white colored pencil go for it and buy these. I was really hoping someone was creative with their chemistry and managed to get an equivalent white charcoal.

Not worth it, even at a bargain price
Received 2 peach colored pencils that look nothing like flesh color. I hate when I get an order from Amazon that I'm not happy about, but instead feel I got played by a good price & assumed it would be what I wanted/needed. Another for the live & learn pile.😢Long story short, I wouldnt take these pencils if they were given away for free.

These don't do what they advertise.
I was really hoping I could use these to highlight my charcoal drawings. They barely even leave a mark, if anything they just smear what's already on the paper. It's more likely that I could probably use these to blend existing charcoal on the paper, but it probably wouldn't blend smooth and would scratch up my drseings and that's not why I even bought these. I would be better off buying a pack of chalk.

They are crap. Will not sharpen to even a dull point. Crumble.
My true rating is a 1 star- I will explain which I gave it a 3 star later on down my review.I hated these. They are a complete waste of money.Every time (and I mean EVERY SINGLE TIME) I tried to sharpen them, even when the pigment showed over the wood JUST A TINY BIT (I am using caps to highlight words, not yell), it would shatter/crumble and fall out before it could even dream of getting a DULL point, let alone a sharp point.I ended up having to sharpen them with a box cutter (and only 1 side of the point, so that the wood could still hold the pigment in place on the other side- that was a pain) which was EXTREMELY wasteful and messy and hurt the muscles in my hands, never mind time consuming and stressful.I have had black charcoal pencils that never shattered or crumbled like these did.Though, I do admit, these were my first attempt at using white charcoal pencils- I am fairly sure they should not be doing what these are.I think I will just use really opaque white colored pencils or white pastells from now on... Or even white chalk would even do better than this crap. Now, onto my reason for rating it a 3::I did not rate it a 1 star only because I know 1 stars and 5 stars are generally either made in anger or from biased opinions, and they tend to be either trusted less often or not much at all.I wanted to be sure I got my point across about how awful these pencils were. There was no point in my asking for a refund, they did not cost enough for that.I'll just have to consider it a lesson learned. It was more disappointing than anything else.I hope my hard learned lesson helps someone else::Beware these pencils. I treated them like I treated other charcoal pencils and they just refused to work properly at all.

Do Not Buy....
This is a huge waste of money. I have "sharpened" my pencil down to a freaking nub. The problem? I can barely "sharpen" it before the "lead" breaks... over, and over, and over, and over again. I'm so ticked off that if I were a parrot, I'd be molting. Huge waste of my time and money. Do yourself a favour and look somewhere else.

Didn't work as well as I had hoped
The charcoal is harder than I had hoped it would be, making it hard to use as a highlight for pencil drawings.
