Worth Every Dollar
I was skeptical about it at first after seeing all the negative reviews about it being dried in the bottle, or it drying up quickly after use. However, I have used mine a couple times and haven't really experienced any drying issues other than the slight buildup at the opening of the bottle.Using this stuff is amazing, it goes on a teal ish color and it dries almost completely transparent. It also comes off really easy after use as well. All you need to do is scratch it with either a finger nail or a craft knife and it peels right off, best of all, it doesn't pull off any of the paint you covered with it. I will definitely stick to buying Vallejo because honestly the size of the bottle is amazing and it hasn't failed me yet.Just make sure you use a cheap set of brushes to apply, because even if you clean the brush off, you will notice a little bit of residue left over which can really do a number on your brushes.

Works great!
Worked great! Did not ruin the paint underneath it at all.

Made for a perfect paint peel look.
Used this for a project where I needed my finished prop to look like the original paint was peeling, revealing the metal underneath. This stuff worked amazingly and was super easy to use and peel off. My only concern (and its just my own lack of knowledge) is how on earth can you clean this off a brush? I guess my only option was to use throw away brushes, but I would buy again for any grunge job I need.

Great for watercolor!
The media could not be loaded. I am slightly new to masking fluid, and I only use it on paper for watercolor or gouache paint. But I am very happy with this masking fluid.I tried applying the fluid with a dip pen, and a paintbrush, and both worked perfectly. I feel like the mask had good coverage even in thin layers. I am very impressed with this. It was very easy to rub off with a little finger pressure, but it also felt secure enough for me to rest my hand on while painting without ruining the mask. Just make sure everything is completely dry while applying, and then when removing. And don’t leave the container open for too long, it dries within a few minutes. I like to pour a little bit of fluid in a shot glass to use and then seal up the rest of the bottle until i need it again. I feel like this will last me for many paintings too, so the price is very affordable. I did see a bit of paper tearing in a spot when I dropped a big thick splatter of masking fluid by accident, but it didn’t destroy the paper. Just a thin layer of paper came up. I could fix it easily with a bit of white paint.Overall very impressed and happy with this product for my watercolor art! 👍I will say it stinks though, smells like a horse barn when wet, but it’s not overpowering and it doesn’t linger when it’s dry.For the video, I did a random test page with the dip pen and a brush, and the removal of the masking fluid was very easy and the lines were very crisp. I used a lot of water and paint on the page, waited for everything to dry and the masking fluid came off easily.

Easy to use!
When I purchased this, I thought I would leave it too long and it would mess up the paint underneath it. I'm glad I was wrong.I would recommend using a disposable brush or something you don't mind only using for this stuff.I wanted to create paint chips for this Mando helmet. You just kinda dab it on and let it sit so it doesn't run. You can do a light layer then come back to it when it dries a bit. Its probably easier to do a nice thick layer of it but I found you could do maybe 2 passes and it worked just fine.Recommended not leaving it on more then a day. There is a chrome layer under and it when I took it off it didn't dull it. In the picture I used flat clear coat so it's not as shiny as it was after I took off the liquid mask. I used regular blue gloves because it catches the masking better than your finger and you also don't leave fingerprints on whatever you're using it for.I used very little so this bottle will probably last a while.
