This Drindls quality is not a costume quality! High quality, well fitting and gorgeous! I am typically a size 18-20 in pants and heavier in carrying my weight in my stomach. I’ve ordered 6 outfits hoping one would fit for Oktoberfest. I ordered a 22 and it fit like a glove.

I admit to being frustrated with the sizing as it ended up being about double the number of whaty wife usually wears in U.S. But dress is well made and looks great when all is said and done.

This dirndl is gorgeous. It has a very traditional look and feel. The blouse that came with it is not like anything you will buy separately on Amazon. The blouse is pure cotton, rather thick, and not very soft. That being said, it is very traditional, so no stars off for that.I don't think I would ever wash this dress or blouse, due to cotton content. But I always take all of my dirndls to the dry cleaner anyway, so no problem. The apron is also Gorgeous- and is definitely my favorite dirndl apron (I have 12). I just love everything about this set. For reference, I am 5'7", 36DD, a US size 12, and the 44 fits me perfectly.

I followed the advice of other reviewers who said it ran a little small, so ordered a Medium. It's a bit big but I can make it work. How the heck are you supposed to attach the chain and keep the ends under control??? Overall, it sure seems like quality construction and looks authentic.

I was really hoping that this dress would be THE one, especially for the price, but wasn't pleased with what arrived. While the dirndl's fabric was nice, the stitching wasn't super high quality, there were some pulls in the detailing around the neck, and the "backing" for the embroidery was just embroidery stabilizer. While the company advertises its American roots, everything was made in Pakistan. What really pushed me to return it, though, is the fit at the bust. It has a center zip with a cheap looking plastic edelweiss pull that isn't very visible in the photos. The way the zip was sewn in caused the bust to pull away rather than to fit closely. I would have made do at half the price, but not at nearly two hundred dollars.

This dress exceeded my expectations. I have been wanting a drindl for ages but all the ones you find in the US are trashy and not very authentic. This dress is just gorgeous on and so well made. I am so excited to wear for Oktoberfest parties. It is something I will use for years. Shipping also was incredibly fast. What a great find this dress is. Oh and definately use the size chart. I am usually a 4 but got a 6 due to the size chart and it fits perfect.

Authentic, and very nicely made. The blouse that comes with it is nice and more reasonable than most- no absurdly plunging neck line, but also not prudish either. Length was exactly what I was hoping for- about mid-to-high shin height on a 5' 2" frame. Sizing is spot on with correct measurements taken. Bottom line is that this is a very nice dress, well-made, and will last a lifetime if taken care of.

I’ve been trying to find a traditional looking dress instead of the very short, very obviously Halloween costume type and this is just perfect. I’m also pregnant, so trying to find one that wasn’t pin straight up and down was important. I ended up going for a size 22 since I was more concerned with hip and waist measurements than bust and it’s great. The fabric feels wonderful and I love that the zipper is on the front, not the side or back. Will definitely be buying another one more suited to my ‘normal’ size after baby.
