Review: Great quality paper for 80gsm - I have high expectations of Rhodia, and these pads do not disappoint. The paper feels sturdy for 80gsm, and is smooth enough for a pleasant writing experience, with just enough texture to grab the ink well. It suffered no ghosting with either the Uniball One rollerball or the Stabilo Sensor fineliner. Very heavy shading did lead to slight bleeding with the fineliner, but it held up better than a lot of 80gsm paper. The front cover is stylish and practical, with a gloss outer finish, which is good for protection, and a nicely tactile matte inner surface. The back cover is sturdy cardboard for support. The pages are perforated for a very clean edge when torn out, although you need to tear slightly carefully as the fine perforations don’t always take well to being ripped sharply. Best bet is to rip the whole page out, then carefully remove the tattered edge along the perforations. Overall, great notepads for general use, and in my view excellent value for money given the quality.
Review: My goto A5 pad - Just perfect for my requirements. Rhodia is a brand I trust. Pricey, but not too bad when bought in packs of five.
