These work very well at preventing someone from prolonging your license plates. Their only problems are:1. Be sure and keep the little wrench somewhere you can find it, or you will have an awful time trying to remove your plates if you need to.2. These do not stand up to winter road salt deicer as they corrode badly and rust. I have bought a new set and this time I am painting them with three coats of a clear coat sealer. Hope it works, but I won’t know until next winter.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Cool security feature that's easy to use, just like a wrench or screwdriver. Decent finish too.

I highly doubt these are truly stainless steal as advertised since they have started to rust very badly after only a month on my car.

So far...so good. No one has stolen these plates yet. Sad state of affairs that people are out there stealing plates, but I guess that's the world we live in.

Does it's job at deterring theft but rusted right away and looks terrible.

They do the job being secure, but they started to rust the first time they got rained on. **3 MONTHS LATER** They have rusted completely and look terrible. I'm sure a wire brush and some clearcoat might bring these back to their former glory and slow future rusting, but right now they look like crap.

1. Would only fit North American vehicles as the screws holes to hold the license plate doesn't fit the smaller Subaru or Toyota (I would have to drill them out).2. Started to rust IMMEDIATELY once I put them on. They're on my F-350 which I drive once a week in dry conditions 95% of the time. And now they look like crap being half rusted.
