The system has a wonderful theme: polar white with gold and silver map / logo accents. The controller is also polar white and matches nicely. In the meantime, I downloaded Sword Art Online Hollow Fragment and played that while the download ran in the background. The media interface takes a bit of getting used to with the PS4, but it is more set up to be a multi media powerhouse than a 'game system'. The light on the system is subtle and shows when the system is running or in rest mode. One BIG annoyance however: the damn light bar on the controller. Even changing the settings to the dimmest possible it still shows a glare on the TV when playing games. Plus, I often play with the controller laying on my chest, so the top of the controller faces my face: annoying light in my eyes if I do this. Time for some electrical tape! The PS4 is a great step up from the PS3. It really shines on the newest HDTVs. And the potential for the future is huge. Developers have barely pushed the hardware on this system. Whoever Mia Putrino is, she is obviously clueless. I just got back from GameStop and saw the actual display box for this bundle. It clearly said CUH-11xx which says it's still the old model. *EDIT* - I apologize for the misinformation. I did do a search on this new model and could not find any concrete info on it, so when I saw the box had the old model number I immediately thought this person from Sony just didn't know what they were talking about. That said, it was a little sad that I was easily able to find info on and knew when Japan and Europe were getting the new models, but it was like pulling teeth to find out when we were getting it. It took someone mentioning the box had the wrong model number on it to get Sony to actually confirm the mistake. That's pathetic. **Q: is it coming with a psn card** A: No you do not get a PSN card. If you don't mind paying again, there are several games that have been released on both consoles or that have been remastered for the ps4. They also offer a subscription service that let's you stream games to your ps4 and play them. Trust me I had to do the same. I just choose to run the download overnight. It's a online game with real time equated into it. There are tons of moving parts so for a first installation it's required. However to speed up your connection just change your ps4 ip adress to googles. I was playing destiny on my husband's console, and when it was clear that I was occupying it way too much we looked into getting a ps4 system for myself as well. This limited edition version is a very beautiful console with great design. A great addition to our household entertainment. The ps4 has physical buttons, making it easier to use when putting any kind of disks in. The game took a while to download, but once it did it ran smoothly with no problems. The only issue that we ran into is the code that is supplied for the 30 day PlayStation plus was only valid until 3/31/2016. So if you are purchasing this bundle do not count on the 30 day free trial of PlayStation plus. If you are new to PlayStation plus another pamphlet included in the Destiny the Taken King lets you know that you may try PlayStation plus for 14 days free once you provide a paypal or a credit/debit card. But you must cancel the free trial before the 14th day or be charged the monthly fee for the online service. Due to the nature of the game, it makes it essential to have a subscription to Playstation plus. Now the small paper inserts with the code for Destiny was also in Spanish, not English. It was not hard to figure out what was what due to the pictures, but I thought it was strange that the language was Spanish although nothing indicated it would be so on the packaging of the product. Overall I think this was a great purchase.
