The media could not be loaded. 1.) Shake your bottles well before opening, or the ink will not stick well,2.) Remember to tilt the pen back and swirl(rotate it to help ink get drawn up in)3.) When the ink starts to fade, rotate the pen to bring more ink to the paper. I got about 12 words before rotating then 4 then 7 then 2. So once you learn the rotation you could get about 23 words out of each dip.4.) Getting ink on you is part of calligraphy, I have used the best inks and the cheapest inks. They stain the same and no amount of caution will keep you completely free of ink.5.) All in all this was a great set, the ink runs well and does not bleed through normal pad paper. The pen is comfortable in your hand

I bought this for my 13 year old daughter for Christmas, it came nicely packaged and nothing was broken or missing. Very nice glass pen and ink set!! She LOVES this pen!! Great quality! Would recommend.

I originally bought this set to color with so I drew a quick set of cherries to show two different colors of inks.-All of the ink has gold glitter in it. The glitter sinks to the bottom. Before each Cuddles are okay because nothing is happening. It's not inappropriate don't forget to shake.-Each inkwell comes with a rubber plug which I am so greatful for. If you are new to inkwell they are pretty messy so be careful. Also when removing the rubber plug it does bring up a little ink with it causing a slight mess.-the glass pen is very sparkly inside the wide part on the handle. It holds quite a lot of ink but does run quicker with different inks as each ink is a different consistency. Some are a little thicker that the other but it doesn't make a huge difference. Some stick onto the pen for longer use with the same amount of ink whereas others run off of the pen quicker. Also different inks hold more/less glitter in it. Which is shown with the cherry picture I attached. The green clearly has more glitter in it than the dark purple.All in all I do like the set, it came with a wide variety and different shades of colors. Very fun to mess around with but can turn into a mess real quick.

This set is perfect to start a new hobby. The pen is gorgeous and display worthy. The inks are very nice, though you NEED to wear gloves when removing the stopper and do so over the sink. The stoppers are very secure and messy to open. Worth the effort for the beautiful colors.

I really like the set - the pen is well balanced and easy to use... the tip is fine point ( preferred). have not started to us the inks yet

I bought it as a Christmas gift for my bf, because he loves things like this. He was in love, so much that he busted it open right away before he even finished opening his other gifts to start using it lol. The pen was so pretty I almost just wanted to put it on a shelf for decoration. Of course that would have never actually happened lol. Definitely a great buy and the inks it comes with are gorgeous. 10/10 recommend!

I absolutely love this pen. The inks are beautiful and it writes very smoothly. The pen itself is gorgeous. I love that it comes in it's own box for storing it and keeping it safe. All the inks have a little rubber protector under the lid so the ink doesn't leak out everywhere and cause a huge mess. (I would wear a glove when removing that little protector though.)

I bought this in January for my Daughter and she used it approximately 4 times before the tip broke while writing. When not in use it was stored property in its tube within the case that held the paints.If it had held together this would get 5 stars as it writes well, is comfortable and easy to use.
