I can't say enough good things about this product in general. I purchased the peppermint version of the same product at Trader Joe's for just under $10 (fyi: they only carry that one scent). I loved it, then came to Amazon to look for a good price on other scents of the same product (Whole Foods carries the full line and charges about the same for the peppermint, but asks about $15 for all the rest). I found the Eucalyptus here at a decent price for 2 bottles, so I added them to my order. This soap is so herbal, so potent, so GREEN smelling, and left my laundry smelling incredibly clean and fresh (I will confess I also tried it as a shower soap and even added a spoonful of baking soda and made a paste to wash my hair with--and loved it!). The next day I shared a bottle with my mom, who had just run out of dishwashing liquid, and she diluted it with water and used it on the dishes--and loved it! We've since used it on the stove, counters, floor, more laundry, and I am planning on using it in the shower again. While I enjoyed the peppermint very much too, and found the chill brrracing, the weather is getting a little cold, for my taste, for a minty soap or shampoo, so this more piney Eucalyptus scent was just perfect. I am now placing an order for the rose and also the citrus-orange (which I think my mom would enjoy even more on the dishes). I highly recommend the Eucalyptus scent for home and laundry use, or anything else you use soap for. It is that awesome. I'm a long time fan of Dr Bronner's soaps. This order was everything I expected it to be as it is a BIG bottle of the same great eucalyptus soap that I've used for years. My two favorite scents are eucalyptus and peppermint. This is a great multi-purpose soap that is good for you and the environment. It feels great, smells great, and works well for many uses. I was introduced to the stuff as a backpacker because, unlike many soaps, Dr. Bronner's works well in cold water for bathing and dishwashing. It's also very concentrated so a little bit goes a long way. The size of this bottle makes it a great deal as I expect it to last me a very long time. In addition to the excellent quality, the bottles all have a bunch of odd religious ramblings about how we are "all one". Great stuff.

These have always been great soaps. Very concentrated, so a few drops go a long way. I primarily use these as shampoos, but with a wash cloth they make great body washes too. They are gentle and non irritating and can be used for pet bathing without worry. If used as a pet wash check a small area first for tolerability because most pets are sensitive to aromas. I have used these for pet shampoos going on 4+ decades now and nothing on the market comes close to being as good. From experience Peppermint is not suitable for pets, too strong a scent. But universally Eucalyptus is tolerated and enjoyed by all dogs I have bathed. Plus you get the added benefit of eucalyptus being a natural pest repellant, win-win.

I like the Dr. Bronner stuff. Our son started using this and we picked it up. Started with the peppermint (pretty strong scent), then went to the lavender (not bad, but I'm a guy and we can't use lavender anything), now using the eucalyptis. Stuff works great in small quantities (doesn't take much to make a lot of bubbles). A quart should last me at least a year, probably longer. One minor note - I have a 2 oz. squeeze bottle with the pop-up tube next to my sink. The Dr. Bronner soap tends to harden in the tube, so if you use it like this you sometimes have to rinse out the tube. I try to remember to blow some air through the tube after each use (hold the bottle upright and give a small squeeze). I have a similar but lesser problem in the fluid dispenser in our shower, but that clears with a quick pump. I travel with 3 ounces of this in a Goo Tube, which works nicely. Goo tubes don't work particularly well with runny liquids, so you sometimes get a bit more than you expect. If you are careful, the Goo Tube is an adequate dispenser for this.

While I grimaced slightly at the price of these soaps, the article I read about the Dr. Bronner product family and family owners made me want to give this soap a try. I love the ethics and values of this company and when I can, I like to support that by purchasing products from such companies. I have extremely sensitive skin and break out really easy. My husband has dry skin and it can get irritated with some soaps. Plus we have a glass shower enclosure and bar soap is not allowed due to the soap scum it creates. So we gave this soap a try. We love it. When it came, my husband had a flashback to high school. He said the girls in school used this soap for shampoo, too. The scent of the soaps is not overpowering; we've tried the eucalyptus and peppermint. But it's cool when you walk down the hallway and you can smell the fresh scent of either coming from the shower. Love it! The peppermint feels really tingly - and for someone who has a hard time waking up in the morning it's nice to know something other than coffee can get me going! One note - you don't need to use a lot of this soap to get lather. So the first time you try it, use less than you might think and work up from there. Because of this, these soaps last so long! So even though the price is high at first, the value you get, the pleasure of the scents and the invigorating pepperment all combine to make me one happy customer. Oh, and the company is not too shabby either! Dr. Bronner's has a new "forever" customer.

You know I just received this in the mail and tried it out. I'm not impressed with the smell it's a very very faint eucalyptus smell you can barely smell it. Also the writing on the bottle is very one faith Universal and I'm not a fan of that. I believe in Jesus. That He is our savior and the son of God, are one true love and the one person that will always come back for us when we lost our way... yet they just call him just a Carpender - not the son of God which is fine for them to believe that but I just do not like all of the writing pushing their "moral ABC all one god faith " to take up the entire bottle and super tiny writing to push they're all one or none face it just seems odd and a bit too much. however the product seems pretty good. I used it to wash my hands and do far my hands feel really smooth and clean afterwards I do not feel dry and course like I was expecting they would. I'm going to try it washing my hair and try it on cleaning surfaces and update my review.

I have used this one product to replace so many chemical and toxic ridden products in my home. I use it for mopping, dish washing, hand wash, body wash, countertop cleaner, etc. If your looking to eliminate chemicals and toxins in your home, this is great product to use. The bottle comes with instructions on it, and it explains how to dilute it. The scent is amazing but not over whelming. I have experienced various skin irritations as well as breathing irritations over the past couple years, and by switching from chemical cleaning products and body products, I have overcome all of those irritants. This is safe for any family with kids or pets. I recommend making the switch from chemicals to natural products, they work not only just as well as those chemical products, but even better!

It's a great smelling clean feeling bodywash. We went from spending a significant amount more on a designer soap with eucalyptus and birch, to to switching to this castile soap for the similar smell. And now my husband and I actually prefer this. Also I have found that this soap and the peppermint one both work for different things. The eucalyptus is great for my skin, and his skin. It also works really well on tile and tends to get rid of fleas and other pesky bugs because they dont like the smell. The mint is best on fabrics, I've used to to get stains out of clothing, and carpet. It makes a nice tingle on your skin but it does try it out if you use it consistently. Great soap!

Gel douche qui sent très bon, un peu liquide il faut le doser. Mousse agréable et parfumée mais sensation très étrange au rinçage : forme une sorte de barrière imperméable ( l'eau perle à la surface de la peau) et du coup la peau colle et accroche c'est très bizarre et pas très agréable. Ce phénomène disparaît au séchage. Ça m'a fait un drôle d'effet car je l'avais à la base acheté pour ses propriétés biodégradables et donc pour le mettre en lubrifiant dans ma combi... Euh ça a légèrement accroché et pincé 🤣 bref en gel douche ça le fait et en séchant laisse la peau douce et parfumée. N'hésitez pas à indiquer si ce commentaire vous a été utile.
