Hi-Range models provide up to 33% more lifting height over standard hydraulic models. Hi-Range models also feature larger rams, larger bases and larger pumps than the comparable standard model. The intended use of all these models is for heavy-duty trucks, farm/heavy equipment, building construction and as original equipment for manufacturers of many products. Handle included. Bought this 18 months ago.  Have used it countless times to lift f250, travel trailer, boat trailer, 1961 lincoln continental.  It just works.  The extension that screws in and out makes it so much more usable.  I'll never buy a cheap jack again.
