Works fine on my KVM Switch
Other cheaper ones did not work with my KVM Switch but decided to try this and it took some minutes before the monitor and the 2 laptops sync together but after that, it works fine.

Excellent cable that works
I have struggled to find a cable that works to output from HDMI on PC to the Display port on the monitor. After trying different /cheaper cables with no luck I finally bought this cable. It works fine and it saved me having to buy a more updated monitor with a HDMI.All in great product. Just a little expensive at £20+

Poor quality cable
The cable worked perfectly... Until it didn't. 2 months of use for a £24 cable and it stopped working. I leave the cable plugged in to my laptop which hasn't moved in the last 2 months so it's not as if it is from wear and tear. Disappointing

Bought to use extra inputs on my monitor
Used to connect pc to monitor with great results. No loss of picture nor sound in general use but cannot comment on gaming as I use other devices.

Didn't work with my brand new HP laptop
My monitors only have displayport input and my brand new HP laptop only has thunderbolt connectors. So I bought a good quality USB-C hub. But that only had one displayport output so I needed an HDMI to displayport solution. This isn't it. I swapped the connections and the screens - both screens work perfectly and the DP to DP connection works on both. It's not clear if power is needed to perform this function but this lead has no aux power facility. Will be requesting a refund.Update - the seller was very helpful with troubleshooting tips and, when these didn't work, offered a refund before I could ask. Amazon's dropoff refund/return service seems very slick

Feels like a solid cable
Took me a while to realise why I couldn’t get my DP to HDMI working and now know that you need a more expensive version to go from HDMI to DP, they aren’t bi-lateral (working both ways). This does the trick if you want to output to DP from HDMI. Only downside for me was that the locking DP connector doesn't work.

It works. HDMI to DP only. One way journey for niche usecases.
Works as expected. People who needs this only do for very very niche use case like I do where all my HDMI and type c ports on my monitors are already taken over by my consoles and Mac. I needed this cable to display my work laptop HDMI to the monitor DP. it does 4k@60fps which is enough for my usecase. I guess it needs to be powered by a USB cable but it seems to work fine without the need to power it atleast for me.

This works great
This is a unique connector I used for my Lenovo monitor (required a display port and my Lenovo lap top that only had HDMI port. The monitor works great with my laptop.

Cable works well, but it gets searing hot. I worry for its long-term lifespan.
The cable works, it manages to give a 4k 60Hz image with no compromise on latency or image quality. I have it plugged on a JSAUX dock for my Steam Deck and it works well.My biggest worry is that the cable that plugs into the source (the HDMI end) gets searing hot. It's almost to the point of burning your fingers if you touch it. My display is turned on 8 hours a day, but the cable's USB power plug is plugged in all day long. I'm worried it will dramatically shorten its lifespan. We will see.EDIT: I glued three small heatsinks on the plug and it's now a lot better. I made it ugly, but I feel the cable is safer now.
