Nice, solid and was pretty straight forward in terms of assembly. The wheels are smooth as it slides and the drawers have a smooth gliding motion when opened and closed. It was easy to assemble but did take a bit of time to do by myself. Functionality is great it has plenty of storage with nicely sized drawers. It was packed well no damage or marks on any sides. It’s perfect for office storage and can even hold my printer on top of it. I’d say it’s a good buy at a good price and I shopped around comparing several of these. Would highly recommend and would give 10 stars if I could.

I have never ever made an Amazon review before but I knew I wanted to after I ordered this and was so scared for it to come because of the horrible reviews I was reading and videos of people saying it’s flimsy etc. first off it isn’t the most amazing quality in the world. You can definitely find better BUT for the $70 I paid I love this. It is not at ALL flimsy. I truly think people just don’t know how to screw things together. Secondly ALL of the pieces ARE labeled. They were printed on the raw edges of the wood not stickers like most other furniture. Third, there are little triangle looking plastic pieces that you screw into the back once you’re done assembling and it really makes the piece sturdy. Use them. I chose not to put the wheels on mine so I can’t say if it changes the way the product sits etc. It took me about 2.5 hours to completely assemble and I took a dinner break in that time. I did everything with a hand held screwdriver and it still didn’t take that long. The instructions are clear so idk what everyone was talking about. This product has far met and gone beyond my expectations as I was truly unsure about what I was getting due to horrible reviews that in my opinion, are just people complaining because they simply can’t follow directions, read, or use a screwdriver. I highly recommend this. The only thing is that SOME of the wood was splitting when I was screwing but nothing that effects the product in any way. For the $70 I paid I like this a lot. I bought this because I wanted something similar to the Alex drawers for makeup storage but I wanted black and smaller. The price point was great also. Here's the issues....THIS THING TOOK ABOUT 3 HOURS TO PUT TOGETHER!!! The directions are just pictures with letters to the corresponding parts. It is long and tedious to put it together, but pay attention to the details of the picture directions and I mean DETAILS! If you don't you will regret it and be completely screwed. Anyways, This cabinet is very sturdy and pretty heavy. The drawers are great, except I feel that there is just over an inch that could be gained from extending the length of them. I use this for part of my makeup collection. You can put a utensil holder in these drawers to use for single blushes, eye shadows as well as small/short baskets to help with organization, otherwise my stuff would be all over the place. The wheels roll really well so far and my cat uses the top of it as a bed, so over all it seems to be doing well. Well, it did take me about 2 to 2 1/4 hours to assemble. I expected for the assembly to be a nightmare. While it was not easy to assemble, it did not meet my expectations. I've dealt with tougher furniture to assemble and worse instructions. The package was heavy, and so is the organizing unit. That fooled me into thinking that it would be difficult to assemble alone. Two things made it easier and faster to assemble: (1) using an electric screwdriver, and (2) screwing the cam-dowels into the drawers before trying to assemble those sections of the drawers. I leaned the item against a stable piece of furniture to have another "set of hands." I put one entire drawer together and tested it before assembling all of the drawers. That was a good idea, because I knew that I had put one together correctly before using the same method on all of them. As I said, it is a fairly heavy piece of furniture. That helps me to feel confident about it being relatively sturdy as long as I put it together correctly. I need it to store pastel paintings. Normally those are best stored laid flat. Some artists use a flat file for storage. Those are too expensive, and I am more of an amateur artist. Making the organizers in larger sizes would also make them more appealing to artists. The shelves are deep enough, just greater width and length would make these more appealing.

Look up “ winsome halifax 5-drawer cabinet assembly & review” on YouTube. AndrewRockYoutube made a thorough and easy to understand step by step instruction video on how to put this together, and it’s much easier to follow than the included installation manual. I was able to do it myself with just a screwdriver. Although it’s made of particle board, it’s sturdy, sleek, and has a nice, glossy wood grain to it. If installed correctly, the front wheels have a locking mechanism that makes this cabinet as easy to stow in place as it is to push around. Great quality for the price.

I knew by other reviewers that the assembly of this piece would be a challenge. It started out fine, but when I got to the wheels and drawers it was a headache. I had trouble with getting the tiny screws in the holes for the castors because the wheel kept getting in the way. So I put the screws in partially to create a hole, then removed them and put the wheel back in place. Then it went much faster because the screw didn't slide. The drawers were a nightmare. The cam screws were not long enough, so the cam nut didn't have a pin to catch onto to keep it in place. And the holes for the cam screws on the front piece were two small for the screws. After trying every possible tweak, I finally gave up on it, and ended up leaving the wooden dowels in and using glue to attch the front to the rest of the drawer. One of the wooden dowels broke. But it worked using the glue with only one dowel on the one drawer. It was a little confusing putting the guides on the drawers. Overall, I didn't have too much trouble with the pictured instructions except for the drawer guides. I had trouble trying to figure out how to put them on but figured out by trial and error. The overall product is ok. But two of the drawers don't glide that easily. Hoping over time that might improve. There is like a two inch gap in the back between the back of the drawer and the back of the drawer organizer. Because of that, the inner dimension of the drawer was not what was stated in the desciption on Amazon. The castors are extremely hard to move on carpet. I should have just left them off and use the slider things on the bottom. The drawers aren't perfectly flush on the front with the cabinet, but not enough of a difference to be that noticeable. I was hoping to fit more in the drawers. But overall the size is nice, since it still fits in a lot more than the cheapo plastic drawers I got from Walmart. I am using this purchase to store my art and calligraphy supplies as well as other project items and frequently used items. Summary: PROS: Looks nice enough, seems pretty solid, provides more room than the smaller plastic drawer systems at disciount stores. CONS: assembly was a nightmare, drawers aren't as deep as indicated in the Amazon description, castors are hard to move, a couple of the drawers don't glide that well. Takeaway: Had I known all this to begin with, I would have got a similar product from IKEA like other reviewers mentioned.

$40. That’s what this is possibly worth... And that’s if you have all the pieces. I, personally, think any reciews over 2 stars, were paid. I’ve run around for 2 days to match screws, buy dowels (which I didn’t find in this small town) Therefore, having to buy long craft dowels and make them 🙄. I was literally sent packages (unopened) of screws, cams, dowels.. all with atleast 2 missing... 6 of the screws in one package were actually in the bag, which called for 36! Only 17 screws that size were available at the local hardware store, which meant either allowing them to order them, trying to find some similar, or traveling almost an hour each way, to a larger town, in hopes of finding them. 4 places and almost 5 hours later, I arrived home, finally having all of the screws... All with a non-verbal, autistic 3-year-old who had 2 meltdowns throughout the last hour and a half of our “fun-filled treasure hunt”. Half of the cams/shafts were breaking the “generic wood” in spots, without even getting them halfway in. The instructions are a joke.. Having you walk through steps, with similar-looking parts, having to flip back a page or two each time, to distinguish which part it is, as apparently, this company is either too lazy to attach stickers or labels or too broke to afford them. Not sure, but I will happily donate some stickers with the correct numbers (which are all over the place... A-N... Then, W1... Q2...etc), so that the next sucker to spend $100-$200 on these items, isn’t ready to fall back to alcoholism, or call crisis. I’m giving this thing one star, only because it IS usable... (Now, anyway.). This whole mess is ridiculous, but I’ve put more time and work into this thing, than I think I did my first child.. I’m not about to take it apart to return it. If this company is going to leave out so much parts, and make an item that is this much work, they should at least include a bottle of whiskey! In case they’d like to make it up, I prefer Patron.

Pros: -Aesthetically clean looking -Great for storing small/short items -Decently easy to put together by myself - make sure you follow the instructions carefully Cons - if you bump it, it will likely dent so handle with care. Like most things on Amazon, it may be deemed ‘cheap’ Overall I love it obviously! It looks great and I love having something to organize items that isn’t huge and bulky. This can be put almost anywhere but still holds a decent amount of items. This can be use for makeup storage, crafts and colouring, lash artist products storage, etc. Definitely recommended buying it as long as you’re gentle with it :)

Es un buen producto, viene con un instructivo de varias hojas donde explica a detalle los pasos a seguir así que es sencillo de armar aunque si hay que dedicarle un poco de tiempo, me sorprendió lo completo y reforzado que trae las piezas y eso ayudo a que quedará firme al final. Lo único malo es que si demoró algunas semanas la entrega pero si no te urge vale la pena la espera respecto al precio.

Nice sturdy cabinet that looks good when assembled. Good castors for wheels. Bought this to hold our scanner/fax/printer machine and paper and other smaller home office supplies. Fits the purpose perfectly. One screw hole was off (so I gave 4 stars for assembly) but my spouse was able to make the situation work. Takes time to assemble mainly because there are five drawers to put together and get onto the runners that they slide on that also take a bit of time to attach to the unit sides. Overall would buy again, as I really like this piece of furniture!
