Is this organic?** A: Not necessarily organic, but the materials are vegan and none are synthetic nor petroleum-based. I’ve used it with a vegetarian partner who has skin sensitivities to more kinds of things than I ever thought possible, and she had no negative reactions to it whatsover. When a manufacturer first begins to sell it's own product they set a reasonable profit margin. As the product gets popular, they start selling to distributors who have their own profit margins. As sales from those distributors become more successful, and demand goes up, those distributors/retailers increase their desired profit margins. If sales from these distributors/retailers become lucrative enough, they eventually make an agreement with the manufacturer where they are not undersold to the public by a certain margin. Therefore the distributor/retailer can set a higher price for the product, and the manufacturer will increase their public price in suit with the distributor/retailer.
