40.5 oz size perfect for lunch box salads
Having a new, larger, lunch bag prompted me to be able to take a salad that wouldn't have to be turned on it's side, and then little else would fit in my old bag. But this is 5 cups, so plenty of room for fluffy greens. I also like they are dishwasher safe. Also, I did a tip test with water, and no leaks, but with liquid-type foods, i.e., soups, I'll stick to just putting it in the fridge, but not taking in my lunch bag! The price of the 3 piece set was very reasonable for these containers. I love that they collapse so take up less space - I put the lids on each of them collapsed, and have a hgt of 4". I also took the lids off 2, nested all 3 in the collapsed state, and set them on top of the 2 extra lids - hgt is 3.25". So, you have options. I'm very pleased with these, and feel they will hold up well. I have now ordered the 2 pc set of the purple & orange 50oz, and 68oz (6.25 cups, & 8.5 cups!!).

A really good idea in storage containersCollapsible containers that seal tight. Saves a lot of storage space.Easily collapsed and expanded.Longevity ? I will have to wait and see but they appear like they should last quite a while.Quality made containers.So far no CONS.

Mixed reaction
Although these do have great points and they are leaking proof, there are also some drawbacks. It is hard to clean especially if something oily is in them. It is hard to get the grease out. The bottom is not sturdy/rigid so things can get sloshy is you are not careful. Other than that, a great space savers and travel well.

Great storage savers
Love that these take up much less space than standard storage and lids match so easy to find. Went back and orders other colors for my sisters as well. Love these, however container themselves did not do well in bottom rack of dishwasher, a couple split. They did ok in upper rack.

A must for lunches from home
I love that these fold small and are lightweight so when I carry them home. I was using my glass bowls but they are unwieldy and heavy compared to these. They clean easily and so far they have been leakproof.

Stain easily
I love the color and how easy it is to storage these but it does stain easily. and when you press down on the lid to close it will collapse the bin so you have to be careful.

Lid breaks
After only 2 uses the lid has broken so it is no longer airtight

It says 1200ml but it didn't look it and too expensive
