KOKSI 3-Piece Reusable Coffee Capsule for Nescafe Dolce Gusto Machine Refillable Capsules Pod Compatible Filter Cups Coffee Pods

I ordered this as a way to cut back on my coffee drinking (a lost cause but I try!). I have 2 Dolce Gusto machines, one older and one fairly new so I had the chance to try these out on both. I had no problems with either machine & this is my experience. The plastic is quite soft and pliable especially at the hinge and catch so you can't run roughshod over these yanking away to beat the band. Be slow and careful opening and closing to ensure you don't break them at these vulnerable points. Check around the rim of the lid for the very fine black rubber ring which is the seal. This absolutely must be 100% clean and clear of coffee grounds if it's going to achieve a complete seal and not leak, overrun or cause a burst into your machine. That means you have to slightly underfil the pod & wipe the edges clean. I used medium fine ground coffee. Dolce Gusto pods use a fine espresso grind but these reusables do require something a bit coarser or they won't work. Press the coffee down but don't pack it hard or water will not be able to penetrate. I tried these first in my older machine first in case it all went pear shaped and jammed in the machine & it worked fine without issues but I think the pressure was a bit weak and I got a very weak coffee. On my newer machine the pressure is higher and although the coffee was still weak it was better. The result will depend a lot on the coffee you use but I recommend a strong espresso blend for best results and you don't get a mug out of it, you'll get a decent espresso sized volume. If you try to squeeze a full cup it'll be dishwater. I got 11 grams of coffee into a pod with room to get a seal but this will depend on the grind you use. These have their place but are a poor cousin to a proper coffee machine like a filter or French press or if you're flush a bean to cup machine. I'd call these a back up for a quick short shot. Good value, fairly weak tasting result but dependent on your coffee, easy to use if you take care with them. They fit both my Dolce Gusto machines and they worked as reusable pods without a hitch. Awful! the pod gets stuck, the coffee spurts out in all directions. I have tried different amounts off coffee with different grinds still does not work :-(

These are pretty good alternatives to using a cafeitere if you're doing a single cup of coffee. The only issue I would make buyers aware of is that you must make sure the capsule is complete closed and flush as if not, guaranteed it will get stuck in your coffee machine. I've had two battles already and almost broke my machine!

Fantastic gadget for using my favorite bean. Made quite a few coffees so far, only had leakage from one pod, because I didn't clip it properly. I put 2 scoops in, clip and line it up, the little bit that stick out lines up at the front (on the mini) once it's cooled it's rinsed, you can put the spent grounds into your composted too. Great reusable product.

Rather flimsy and difficult to clean, but does do the job

Bought these for my partner after feeling guilty about using the disposable options. She hasn’t looked back and these have lasted a number of years. Much cheaper in the long run and you can choose your own coffee rather than putting up with what’s available for disposables.

Absolutely useless..zero stars, holes in top difficult to align with injection nozzle, and when they do there’s a 50/50 chance the nozzle gets stuck in the hole meaning you cannot then open it to release the pod.. so need to jam a spoon or screwdriver into it forcing it down and destroying the lid to release the mechanism and remove the capsule which is now completely fcd.... AVOID at all costs…

These seemed like a good idea but whether I am doing something wrong or there is a fault with my machine or not I dont know, but I cannot get these to work without leaking everywhere and causing a mess and sub par coffee. They are easy enough to use and clean up fairly easily, they seem well made but mine dont seem to seal particularly well and once the pressure builds up in the pods they leak and dribble weak coffee and grids everywhere.

Definitely works as it's intentes ans comes with small accessories, definitely recommend.
