Shock Doctor Men's Core Supporter without Cup Pocket

These are terrific for both the gym and daily wear. If you’re familiar with the now-defunct Bike jockstraps from the past, it’s like these took all the attributes of the Bike jockstraps but improved upon the pouch making it softer and gave it an updated look. I’ve already ordered two more for a total of now 4. I’ve always enjoyed wearing a jock daily, not just in the gym. Recently realized even the nice, well cut briefs weren’t properly supporting to make a comfortable transition from standing to sitting and constantly found myself having to reach in and pull everything upward - the downward shift of my genitals was comfortable when standing but it was totally uncomfortable immediately upon sitting. Since I can’t exactly reach in and pull my balls up every time I sit down in front of other people, I gave these a try. These are pretty perfect. In fact, I missed Bike jockstraps and never thought I’d find a replacement but these hit on all points. They’re comfortable - the fabric is great, soft, breathes well, and has enough give. The waistband has the rigidity you expect in a jockstrap that’s truly an athletic supporter (as opposed to those designed more for daily wear) and leg straps are soft, maintain their elasticity and don’t seem to have those sharp edges that cut into skin. These look decent on me - the pouch on some jocks are cut so narrow across the front where sewn to the waistband it looks, well, less masculine than I’d like; not these. The pouch is sized well - it has enough give to allow sufficient movement but not so much that there’s any shifting as I move around. Also, I even wore one of these jockstraps on a 14 hour flight last week and felt just as good at the end as I did when I put them on that morning. These are a really great surprise and a terrific value. Zero complaints and I’m already purchasing more to replace the Bike jockstraps I own.

I'm a guy who is hard to fit - any extra weight I carry goes straight to my upper gut... but I have a normal (some might say small) butt and then very muscular thighs. This makes buying any lower body clothing difficult for me. Pants have to be purchased in a size where the waist and butt area are kind of baggy in order to make the legs fit correctly. And I usually wear size "L" underwear even though the pants waist is larger, because they are stretchy.But athletic supporters can be difficult... especially given what they hold.Not with Shock Doctor! In an XL, they fit PERFECTLY.This two pack is the right price for sure.The ONLY downside? They do wear out if abused. And for a product intended to be abused... let's just say I wear the model with the cup pocket 3 nights a week for martial arts, so it does get hit quite often. I buy a new one every 18 months, so that's not terrible when you think about it. If you rotate a couple, they'll last years.

These are as they appear in the image. Fit wise im on the top end of the large. I wear a Large (36-38) in Jockey underwear a size 36 in jeans and a 38 in slacks. I chose the Large because im losing weight and so i figured the XL would be too big eventually. Initial fit is snug but not restricting. Pouch seems to hold well although it seems a bit wide at the top but that doesnt detract from function. It does seem the leg straps pull the pouch under a bit during wear but a quick adjustment and things are back in order. As i slim down this will not likely be an issue. I have a couple others from bike which i like the pouch fit better but i like the overall look and materials of this jock better. I would like a narrower waistband like the swimmer styles have as im a runner but this works well. And i would buy again.

The most comfortable jock strap I have ever worn! I purchased the medium after reading the reviews and I am not disappointed they run true to size and I range between a 31-32 waist on my pants. I even purchased a small which I will be keeping because I really didn't notice much of a difference other than it fitting a bit snug around the waist but the jock part is fine. I would definitely recommend Shock Doctor Core Supporter. Gives the right amount of lift that I was looking for and enhances the packaging.

So, jockstraps as exercise equipment (as opposed to fashion items) are increasingly rare. Compression shorts and more modern briefs and boxer briefs have made them less necessary than they used to be. But, there are some situations that still call for a jockstrap as supportive protection.For those situations, the Shock Doctor Core Supporter is a great option. It is very lightweight and breathable. It provides great support without feeling constricting. These are also super durable and last forever - - they can be hand washed in a sink in a pinch. The price, especially for the quality, is also great.

This is a really, really good jock strap. I started doing 21 Day Fix and P90X3 exercises, and I found out very quickly that I needed more support than running shorts or briefs would provide. This jock has a thin strap which I was unfamiliar with at first but which is actually more comfortable. Note of caution, you are likely to need to go up one size. I wear a size 34" pant, my waist measures 36" around my belly button and 36" a few inches lower where my pants actually sit. These fit great. The pouch fits snug - not too tight and not loose. I am of average endowment with larger than average testicles (sorry to get too graphic, but it's nice to know) and the pouch is very comfortable. Highly recommended! I bought a second package so I now have four pair.

I wear these for jiujitsu underneath a pair of under armor tights. I feel like I have more movement when I wear these opposed to wearing regular underwear underneath. Plus it keeps my junk tight while it is very comfortable. So far after about 6 months of use it has been very durable.

Who’s idea was it to put a giant, rigid tag right smack in the middle of the back? It feels like I have a piece of plastic rubbing against my spine. Definitely look for a different product where there was some actual thought put into the design.

Works great, even though it doesn't include the cup pocket, I just wear these over a cup and they work just fine. Everything fits nice. No complaints
