Great vehicle but shipper needs to make an effort
This toy is aimed at adult collectors. Moms and Dads buying this for their kids - you rock but know this going in. It might not stand up to rough handling and play for very long. First, the vehicle itself is pretty great - but let’s consider how the shipper views your order: They don’t care how stuff arrives. Mine was shipped and sold by amazon and I made the mistake of ordering it along with other items. Therefore the box - inside of the shipping box - arrived damaged. For collectors, this is unacceptable. I figured I’d keep and open this anyway but still with a very hefty price tag - you would hope that the box would be somewhat presentable. Mine is not. That said, the vehicle itself is very detailed. Especially the interior. It’s a bit deceiving at first glance because the exterior is not that intriguing. Yet, it seems that this design actually is all about the details. There are two ways to open the top - a hatch and then the entire roof is removable. This exposes the highly detailed troop compartment - complete with 4 fold down seats and a functional rifle rack. There are two doors that open in the front cockpit area that expose an aforementioned highly detailed cockpit. Two side doors open - one on each side - where figures can be positioned in their ready-positions.A rear hatch door exposes the rear view of the transport and it is impressive. In the 1st season of The Mandalorian, we only see this vehicle for a moment and none of the glorious detail this toy contains is revealed - but that only makes this model that much more fun. It’s interior is no longer a mystery and the reveal is quite satisfying. The detail is stunning and well conceived. It feels like the this toy is built solidly and will hold up to play with some limitations. The doors while functional yet fragile. Tiny fingers and rough play could break them under hard use. The roof is detachable and therefore could separate from the vehicle if carelessly attached. The top gun turret could come off and get lost. Getting your figures to sit in the cockpit will be a challenge - not for the faint of heart. It feels like this was scaled just a tad below "correct." Figures fit but seem on the verge of being too large, tall, inflexible.Adult collectors won’t have many concerns aside from these minor issues but with a full retail price tag of $69.00 - this could be a huge disappointment if something breaks, gets lost, etc. Its my opinion that this may drop in price so if you’re on the fence, be patient. This is the way.

another great vehicle from the Vintage collection
I bit on the last one they had; it was a Christmas gift and at the price, I had to get it. I absolutely love the redesign of this vehicle. Like all the Vintage Collection vehicles, the details are incredible. If there is just ONE thing to nitpick about this vehicle, is that it's a little small for the 3.75 figures, but it still works. If they just upscaled the vehicle a little bit, the back loading ramp would be more practical and the inside would be a little less cramped, but that's just my nitpicking. Overall, this is a well crafted and detailed vehicle and it looks great on display with the two Imperial Tanks I have!

Awesome update to a 1970s classic!
DISCLAIMER 1: I have never seen a single episode of the Mandalorian.DISCLAIMER 2: Yeah I know I used G.I Joe’s in my pic, but the aesthetics are very very similar.Reason for my purchase was that the vehicle is an update to the original toy/vehicle, circa 1979, which I owned as a child. I have to say that this is a well made piece: Sturdy and detailed. I especially love the detailing on the inside of the vehicle. The entire roof can pop off to reveal a troop compartment with fold down seating and a weapons rack, the drivers compartment has a steering assembly on a ball joint, and fine details are molded into the vehicle instead of stickers! All of these additions make it reminiscent of a Russian BMP (goggle it to see what I mean). These points make up for the fact that the vehicle doesn’t have the electronic sounds from the original (good luck finding a vintage one that works anyway). All in all, highly recommended.

Nice for anyone who likes to play with Star Wars figures.
This is a nice product that my grandson really likes. Maybe a little pricey, but he plays with it all the time so money well spent. I would recommend especially if you can get it at lower price.

An excellent toy but could have been better.
After picking up the previous Vintage Collection shining star, the Rogue One Assault Tank, I was pretty excited to see what the Mandalorian Troop Carrier had to offer. It's has a similar abundance of detail with lots of molded machinery, panels and decor inside, outside and even on the underside. I love the opening driver compartments, the fold-down seats in the passenger area and the gun rack. The tiny rollers on the bottom give the carrier a great "floating" effect as it moves along.BUT while the Assault Tank had so many more tiny bits and bobs that made it stand out like the moving guns, the opening engine repair compartment, the kyber crystal cargo, the hidden storage compartment that could also hold troops, the Troop Carrier itself stops short of anything truly "extra". I feel like it could have used its own opening repair ports, additional functional doors, rather than just the first on either side, or even a driver figure. It's also smaller than I expected, not by much, but not nearly as intimidating a force on the battlefield as it should be.All in all, it's a great toy with a lot of play value, but in terms of actual value I feel like it's overpriced at $70 while I would have paid an even higher price for the Assault Tank. The Imperial Troop Transport is a fine addition to your Star Wars 3.75 collection, but maybe wait for a sale before picking it up.

So Detailed!!
I will admit this is a tad pricey BUT when I opened the box I was like a kid again. It is so detailed inside and out and full of cool features (flip down seats!!!). Better scaling than the Rebels transporter. Figures fit better and the color is excellent. You will not be disappointed.
