Works Great!
A very good device. Small enough to mount into an electrical box. So far, dependable. If I could offer one suggestion: It has a threaded grounding stud sticking out the back. The existing wall box that I had was somewhat shallow so I had to cut this stud down just a bit. Seems like the design could be improved regarding that grounding stud. But overall, it saved me from having to run additional Cat5 and works at full speed. Five-star for me!

GBT-4-IW (4 port in-wall model)
Review of the GBT-4-IW. I used this to replace a wall jack which had 1 PoE jack. Now I have 4 PoE jacks. Zero configuration required, and it fit the existing wall hole perfectly. Everything started working immediately. My only complaint is that the price is a bit high, since you can now buy 1 to 4 PoE extenders for about half what this model costs; however this is a special form factor, and seems to be quality, so I think the moral is "you get what you pay for". Recommended!

A pricey, but dependable option for certain situations
Compared to managed switches such as the new Unifi Flex switch (which sadly has been out of stock for some time now), this "dumb" switch is not the best value. You will be limited to all the ports having the same untagged VLAN, and no ability to power cycle individual devices. However, this is still a great option in certain situation, especially when "someone" installs too small of a conduit and additional PoE devices are needed ;). The form factor is great, though be aware than it's too deep for a standard electrical box. An extra deep trim ring was used in my case, and I have also removed the grounding lug in the back, as it was interfering with conduit entering the 4" box.

Great little units but wish the lights turned off
Love these things, just wish I could turn off the light. I put these in the wall behind my entertainment setup to hardwire the projector, soundbar, X box, computer and other misc. boxes. They work great but the lights are a little distracting and unnecessary.

Works as expected
I've been using this for about a year now with no problems. I recommend it.

Very interesting solution, where there are none
This is a neat and elegant solution. I needed to run additional CAT6 lines into a room in my house to support multiple hard-wired devices behind my wall mounted TV, but I lacked an easy path to run those lines without cutting holes in my drywall. Additionally, I did not want to have a bulky ethernet switch behind my TV. This product resolved both of those problems. Installs like a receptacle in your wall, it's concealed and it provides 4 runs from a single connection. Thumbs up to the design team!

Terrible Doorstop
This thing can't even hold the door open. I mean, I've I have a couple windows open to let a breeze through, even a light breeze just pushes the door closed. They should have put a rubber strip along the down side, you know, anti-slip stuff. Maybe a wedge shape in the back to get firmly set under the door. But seriously folks, love the idea, worked nicely for about a week. Tried to exchange, but they cancelled the replacement order before I could return defective unit (I was out of town and didn't try to send back defective unit until 29 day mark, replacement order was cancelled before stated return period was up, issue I suppose more about merchant and Amazon than PoETX). Inquiry led nowhere. Going in the garbage now. Nice concept, just not the toughness I'd expect out of Texas. 2 stars because it was great for a short time. -3 stars because I've been burned.

Seamless Networking with Clean Aesthetics – Highly Recommended!
We recently installed this 4-port in-wall PoE switch across our office, and it’s been a game-changer. Each room previously had only one Ethernet port, which was a major limitation for our growing network needs. This switch allowed us to expand connectivity to four ports per room, all while maintaining a clean and professional look. Setup was incredibly simple thanks to its plug-and-play operation. No complex configuration—just connect it to your existing network and it’s ready to go. The PoE passthrough feature is especially useful, allowing us to power devices like IP phones and access points directly through the Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for extra power adapters and reducing clutter. The in-wall design blends seamlessly with standard wall plates, and the clearly labeled ports make it easy to connect devices correctly. The LED indicator is a nice touch for quick status checks. If you're looking to expand your network in a clean, efficient, and user-friendly way, this switch is an excellent solution—especially in office environments where space and aesthetics matter.

You may need a PoE Injector!
It's sleek, installation was really easy even though I had to use a PoE Injector! Once everything plugged back everything worked as expected!

Unmanaged POE switch
It does exactly what it's supposed to do. It's an unmanaged switch that draws power from an upstream POE switch, and supplies power to four downstream POE ports. It works well. The uplink ethernet connector is at a right angle to the rest of the ports and this is perfect for fitting in a junction box. Unfortunately there's also a ground lug that sticks out from the rear of the switch. This was too long and prevented installation. I had to grind it down almost 10mm to get it to fit in a standard box. Just something to watch out for. Link LEDs are missing from this unit. That's a slight inconvenience because you don't know if a downstream device is connected. As with all modern electronics there is a very annoying always-on bright blue power LED. The cost is high for a four port POE switch, however when you factor in the expense to run additional ethernet cables, this could be a big money saver for commercial installations.
