Its obviously not a factory fob and feels a little cheaper. However, It looks like the factory one and works the same as the factory one. I am very happy with my purchase and its been awhile since I've ordered it. The buttons are holding quite well! I will order another one when my buttons wear the pictures down. It was easy to swap over the internals as well.

None of the old key fob parts are usable after taking apart. I thought I would be able to save the log/back, but no go. That being said, follow the instructions to put it back together. Take care of the battery spring, and put a new battery in, while you have it apart. The new key fob works great. Just like new.

The guts fit in the new shell perfectly. But unlike the OEM, the chrome sides are plastic and chip easily. After trying the plastic sides for a while, I reverted to the metal side pieces from my original OEM fob (the printing had faded on the face, lots of scratches, but the side pieces were still pretty good). The side pieces are interchangeable, so I am happy with the results. So don't pitch the metal side pieces. The printing on the face holds up OK, but I've replaced them with another shell after about a year and a half. In all fairness, I am pretty hard on fobs, carrying them in my pocket along with other stuff. Fortunately, these shells are pretty cheap and reasonably easy to replace.

Great product and works perfectly. Removal of the remote control module from its original FOB is somewhat difficult and will likely permanently damage the original FOB housing. So understand this before you attempt to switch the remote module from the old FOB into the new FOB. Once you start the process, some damage to the old FOB is unavoidable but the result is well worth the difficulty. The remote module snaps into the new FOB perfectly and all the buttons align without any issues. Looks and works great!

Good replacement for women stock key fob. The material is a bit more plastic-like and a little less rubber-like compared to the original, but the buttons are still flexible and feel right. The silver sides are a nice bit of bling compared to the original, and while they are coated plastic as well, they look nice and don't have any ugly edges or anything. Note that the stock one pries apart in the corners; it's tough to get undone but that's how it comes apart to get to the circuit board. The "sides" do not come off. This replacement one has 4 small clips on the side that clip, and then the silver edges clip onto the sides. Thus, the assembly/disassembly is different OE to this one. Pictured: this replacement, a new original, a worn original.

The chrome finish is coming off and leaving sharp edges. Very disappointing.
