This works! Best pill cutter I've ever bought!
It works just as described. Very easy to cut pills in half, haven't had to cut any in quarters yet but if needed, I'm sure it will do that too. I have round pills, oval shaped pills and large cigar shaped pills and this device worked like a charm. I'm a bit older now and arthritis is trying to set up shop in my hands, so this pill cutter is very easy to use without having to bear down when cutting pills as I did with my old-fashioned pill cutter which is now in the trash. Also, it makes nice clean cuts, not the ragged cuts like my old one. Extremely easy to use, cuts pills like slicing through butter. So glad that I found this on Amazon, could not be happier with this purchase, highly recommend.

Ease of use
Really loving these " pill scissors " . I bought them to cut my iron pills in half . They, the pills are hard and can't easily be broken apart and my " multiple pill cutter" didn't work well for hard texture pills like iron. These scissors work wonderfully, easy to cut the pills. Didn't have to use a lot of force/ pressure to get the pills cut , which with someone with Arthritis, is a major plus. The only draw back is that it's one pills at a time, but I did a weeks worth in less than a minute. I'm not sure how it would be on softer pills , nothing to catch the powder debris, but for this low price I would definitely keep a pair on hand.

Really nice for cutting meds without destroying it too much.
I think this is the best or one of the best quality pill cutter out there. Most alleged cutters on here are made of cheap plastic and more crush than cut. Theres also issues with pill size in those and if course they break easily. There was one made out of all metal but there were reports of still crushing a bit. The scissors are really good but of course there are cons. For one there is some crushing (although very little) depending on the pill coating and fragility. If you have arthritis and hand disabilities or issues this isn't for you. The small pills can be a pain but you have control of the cut and angle so it's basically a give and take situation. If you have the dexterity and ability to use the scissors it's a breeze and super effective. The size of the pills is also a variable as you will have to hold it.If you have mobility issues or arthritis and the like maybe the all metal one is best although I have no idea if it's performance.

It does the job.
I love how easy these are to use. I feel like I have more control than with the guillotine-like pill cutters. It’s not perfect— sometimes the cuts aren’t 50/50. More like 55/45, perhaps. Still, it does the job effectively enough and that’s what I need. It’s also easier to cut several pills in succession than with a guillotine type.

Amazing product - doesn’t crush pills, very sharp so makes precise cuts, super easy to use. Highly recommended even for tiny pills.

Pill Cutting Without Possible Microplastic Contamination
We were given a pill cutter by our HMO, a blade on a plastic base I was using for years. I wonder how many microplastics we've ingested along with our cut pills.I tried using a knife to cut pills, but it was awkward. I was looking for a non-plastic pill cutting solution and found this scissors. It works like a charm on big vitamins. It works okay on the smaller pills, but requires a little more attention to the placement of the pill.I am so happy to have found it.
