Of the passing of the First-Born though sad was written like a poem
The Souls of Black Folk was an interesting read. This book showed the different point of views of people in late 1800s to the beginning of early 1900s. For instance, chapter 3 between slaves if the south (Booker T. Washington) and non-slaves of the north such as himself that didn’t experience segregation until attending Fisk. Segregation (the vail) in which Du Bois often referred. This is was book that was comprised of several stories or life experiences. Of the passing of the First-Born though sad was written like a poem.
