Review: Dramatic Difference! - I just finished our pool. We took a lot of time prepping, cleaning with muratic acid, rinsing, and letting it dry completely. (4 days) This product was extremely easy to use and dried quickly. We put on 2 coats with brushes and rollers. Our pool is 15’ x 30’. It’s only 5’ at its deepest. It holds 15,000 gallons and it took 4 gallons to paint our pool twice. It looked much better after that 2nd coat. I can’t speak to how long it lasts, so I’ll update the review later about that. Highly recommend this product. Love the Cool Blue color. After this paint job, every time I look at the pool, I smile!

**Q: how long after final coat of paint can I fill pool?**
A: We recommend waiting 3 or more days to allow the coating to fully cure before refilling your pool.

**Q: how can 1 gallon cover 300sq ft when other gallon pool epoxy paint only covers 125 sq ft**
A: Thanks for your inquiry. There are many different epoxy coatings on the market. Adcoat's is a hybrid which combines the flexibility of an acrylic coating with the durability of an epoxy  catalyst. This is a waterbased formulation, offers ease of application and a 6 hour pot life. It covers up to 300 sq ft per coat (2 coats recommended). The porosity and texture of the surface will dictate this amount somewhat. The ratio of Part A to Part B is 7:1. The thickness of the coating is similar to that of a quality latex paint. **Q: Can this be used on pool slides as well ?**
A: Yes. Adcoat's Pool Paint can be used on slides!! Properly prepare the slide, dull glossy surfaces, patch and clean then apply two thin coats. Best to use a quality roller for smooth surfaces. Allow to dry in between coats.

**Q: Hi. last year we painted the pool with your paint. now lots of paint has peeled. can i repaint it or do i have to do an acid wash again??? please resp**
A: I would definitely do an acid wash. I used this paint without an acid wash and had lots of peeling. Preparation is critical I think.

### ⭐ Beyond frustrated to have to start over again...

Unfortunately, all the time spent researching the ideal paint for our inground fiberglass pool, energy prepping the pool to be painted with the muriatic acid and scrubbing to remove all oils, etc. and money spent on prep materials, in addition to this paint, was not worth it. It looked great right after application and even after we were able to fill it, it still looked decent. We just uncovered our pool to prepare it for summer and it is now worse than it was prior to ever painting it with all the peeling paint and extreme fading! So frustrating!
