Microsoft Lumia 640XL LTE 5.7" Single SIM-Free 13Mp 8GB Memory Windows Smartphone - Black

Got this to replace a broken Lumia 535. Mistakenly thought that a windows replacement would be less hassle than an android. As a smart phone it is faster and more robust but of course more expensive. Comes with Windows 8.1 installed but fairly simple to upgrade to Windows 10 mobile if you've got 3 or 4of hours connected to broadband when you don't mind not being able to use the phone. Has to update 8.1, update all apps, update 8.1 again, upgrade to 10, update all aps and then update 10 to latest edition - lots of downloading, waiting, restarting. Comes preloaded with some bloatware but easy to uninstall. Took a while to set up my MSFT account and still hasn't got phone - onedrive connection right to ensure photos get uploaded. The camera is a mighty disappointment. Says 12mp but actually is 10mp and a really poor 10mp at that. Horrid, grainy photos in anything less than idea light. And don't even think about zooming in - pixelated, granulated sugar textured "photos" result. I'm now thinking about returning this as I assume the camera is not functioning properly. Also only low bandwidth wireless connection. Phone volume is low, too low unless you turn on speaker and then hold to your ear. (yes Vol is set to MAX!)
