Great product!
Update to 5 stars! After more time utilizing our tarp, I've updated the review. Fantastic material, very durable! ... Our waterproof 10x10 tarp was delivered so quickly after ordered - we couldn't believe it! It's lightweight, and easy to pack-up and carry around with you. This is perfect for us for camping, and for keeping the elements at bay. It's definitely made of a durable material, and the corner ripstop technology is awesome, as pulling tarps taught is needed, but always a concern of whether or not it'll hold up. Wonderful product.

Not really worth the price
I'm on the fence about recommending this tarp. As far as the quality, I'm happy with it. It definitely is more lightweight than traditional tarps, and even though it is thinner, it's just as durable. Yes, it can still tear if a sharp object punctures the surface. But for normal wear and tear, this will last plenty of camping trips. Two major advantages of this tarp compared to regular tarps is the packability and mounting areas. It's thinner but just as durable, which allows it to fold more easily, and take up less space. This also has way more mounting loops, not only on the outer edge but on the inner surface as well. Whereas tarps only have eyelets on the outer edge, this product allows you to tie the tarp off using hooks on the middle as well for a more stable cover. Is it worth the price? That really depends on your needs. If you find that tarps take up too much space and don't attach easily, it may be worth it for you. The lifetime warranty makes the cost a little more justified at least. But if you haven't had any issues using regular tarps, this isn't an upgrade I would suggest unless you don't mind spending the money upgrading.

Excrllent quality
This is their lightest weight tarp that I use for backpacking due to weight/size but my favorite tarp is their medium thickness tarp

Fantastic Tarp
So $100 for a plastic tarp, is it really worth it? It just might be. This tarp is very light weight and thin, yet air cannot be squeezed through it and I was unable to rip it or its tassels. The orange color is a red-orange and vibrant, while the silver parts are highly reflective like the metallic paint used on emergency vehicles. So the bright orange and reflective silver bordered by deep black make this highly visible for emergencies. It comes with a bag of the same material, with a handle on the bottom made of the reflective trim material to help pull the tarp out from the bag. It becomes very compact inside of the storage back, easily thrown into a backpack for camping, hiking, or taking it out the beach. The built-in tassel loops allows the tarp to be ready to use for whatever ropes, hooks, and spikes you may own. There is a total of 19 tie loops and the tarp is made from 70D ripstop nylon with a silicone and polyurethane coating. You can even use this as a rain poncho if needed. I wish they included a small sample of the material that I could cut up with sharp objects and abrasion just to test the material as I don't want to ruin my tarp and carry bag. It feels so thin that I think I can rip it but even the carry back doesn't stretch by my arms or puncture with my thumb. It truly is impressive the more I try to tear it but can't. $100 seems expensive to me but this tarp is legit. I can take it camping to make a wind-proof water/sun block or cover the car when hurricanes strike South Florida, or the roof after a hurricane passes if the roof catches a leak. The only test I can't perform is seeing how long the material survives UV light. I have a backpack made with a similar ripstop nylon but I think sun exposure was getting to it after a year of college transit. But the tarp appears to be wonderful in appearance and made in a very high quality material and construction, I would recommend it for camping, emergencies, and events. It's so thin and light too, amazing stuff.

This is pretty handy to have around!
There are so many things you can do with this!It is well made and easy to work with (providing you know what you want to do with it). The edges are durable and it will absolutely do all kinds of things. You can set this up as an emergency shelter or wrap it around something to protect it from a rainstorm. The only minor hitch you could run into is if you are in an area with heavy wind. This, or anything like it, is going to have a difficult time handling strong winds. There's just no real way around that. One of the best features of this is the color. If you are in a situation where you need to be rescued...this will absolutely help you be found. It's so bright that search parties should be able to see it from quite a distance off.I definitely suggest keeping this in your emergency pack!

Lots of tie out points give lots of setup options
Generally seems to be a decent budget tarp for emergency use.Pros- Lots of tie out points give lots of setup options- tie outs are double bar tacked + stitched- bright orange for visibilityCons-I am confused by the claim that it has both silicone and PU coatings. The PU coating on bottom is obvious. But not sure where the sil is. I’ve used lots of PU coated tarps and lots of sil impregnated tarps, but never heard of a combo treatment for tip stop before.

Holds up in adverse conditions
Already had the same tarp in a larger version and it was a godsend in a 3 day unrelenting storm on the northwest coast. Bought the smaller one for solo trips and know I will have the same great results. Couldn’t have been better.

The best Guide Tarp on the market
I've been using this brand for 2 kayaking seasons now. I love the lightweight, durable, versatility of the brand. The tarps have stood up to some insane west coast PNW weather, and the dry bags have been put through the ringer as well. Highly recommend these guys over any competition.

Nice tarp. Good quality. Would be nice in other bright colors and multiple colored panels. Definitely the orange will not be lost in the woods
