CONAIR INFINITIPRO Ceramic Flocked Hot Roller Set with Cord Reel and 20 Hair Rollers

I finally found hot rollers I love. I like my rollers hot and on the 12 setting theses get nice and hot but I still found them easy to handle. They heat up in about 10 minutes which is also great.I have a lot of hair so I appreciate that this set has 20 rollers because is use them all! I have funny in-between hair. Each strand is thin but yet I have a lot of it. My natural texture is neither curly nor straight but a hybrid with some spots curly and some spots straight, some places tend to puff out and some tend to get frizzy! This set makes beautiful curls that last all day and does not make my hair frizzy at all. It gives my hair nice body and bounce all over.I really love this set! I was using the super expensive BaByliss Pro 30 Roller Nano Ceramic Titanium set recommended by my hairstylist. They never got very hot even on the high setting and worst of all the sets kept breaking. I went through 3 sets in less than 3 years. They would just stop heating up. I sent the first set back under warranty to the manufacturer after 4 months. Their service was good and I got a replacement that lasted about a year. Stupidly, I gave it one more shot and it lasted about 10 months. This set already beats the other out of the water as far as function. I will update you and let you know how long this set lasts with nearly daily usage.Now, for the negatives, there are a few but not enough for me to deduct a star. I do not really like the weird plastic/metal clips. I feel like they do not hold the roller close enough to my head. Having had 3 sets of the BaByliss Pro 30 Roller Nano Ceramic Titanium, I have plenty of their plastic claw clips and I like those much better. Also, I have gotten my hair stuck inside the slit that runs in the middle of the roller and it took a bit to get it untangled. Still, as I said, the overall performance of this set is so superior that it is easy to overlook these 2 less than stellar features!UPDATE 10/9/2028: All of the rollers are still heating well which is good because I use this set nearly daily. I have even flown twice with it in my checked bag without difficulty. However, this morning when I opened the lid there was a crack and a 1 inch piece fell off the hinge. See the attached pictures. I am not particularly hard on the lid as far as I can tell. The lid is still attached but I am afraid this might be the lid’s death knell. Closing the lid makes the rollers heat faster but I suppose if it does fall off, I can just let it sit on top. The rollers traveling days might be over though. I will let you know how it goes. As far as roller function though...still perfect!

I received this product very quickly and was eager to put it to the test. My previous experience with heated hair rollers was from 20 years ago. I have rather curly hair that I was hoping to tame a little with something other than a curling iron. The Infinity Pro is a handsome looking equipment box and the rollers are neatly tucked onto heating rods - very ingenious way to heat the roller core, actually. The cord is retractable, neat feature. The rollers were heated within 2 minutes. They were warm to the touch, but did not burn my hands or my head. They were easy to wrap my hair around, the enclosed clips held the rollers loosely. I left them in my hair about 5 minutes, and I had soft curls. My curl skills will need some refreshing, but I think these are probably better on my hair than the curling iron.

Pro:1. I have fine hair and live in a highly-humid region, and these rollers work well as I go between a/c buildings and an a/c car.2. The unit heats quickly and there is a nice assortment of roller sizes.3. There is an on-off button.4. There are multiple heat setting. I have not used any but the highest, so I have no opinion on how well lower ones work.Con:1. The clips provided - Nope! One try and I went back to my old large plastic claw clips.2. I'm not sure why, other an aesthetics, the roller heads have a "turn button" on top. I was unable to use it to grasp the rollers and it would be unnecessary anyway since they are raised off the posts and easy to grab by the sides.3. The flimsy drawstring bag - Again, not sure why it's included. I don't know anyone who would have time in the morning to put them in there. Rather, we toss in a basket for easy reach the next day. If it is for travel, we all have quite a few cosmetic bags that came free w/cosmetic specials.4. Skip the "ooh-ahhh" features such as strange clips (reminded me of Judy Jetson), handles molded on the top of roller heads, and throwaway drawstring bags. Most busy women are not impressed w/these Marketing gimmicks that most likely hiked the price of the unit. We want quality products w/ease of use.4. All hot roller units that I know of: Pls consider an auto-off feature (like an iron has).

I love these rollers. I ordered the white clips, sold with these on Amazon. These rollers get nice and hot and are easy to use. I don't like the clips that come with the set; they didn't hold the rollers in which maybe because my hair is shorter than it should be for these. All in all a good selection of sizes, heats up wellPros:Off/on switchShuts off after one hourHeat settings from one - low to high of 12Base doesn't heat up which means it won't damage the surface you use it on. A little more expensive than the $12.99 sets you can pick up at Wal-Mart, but the extra features are worth it.
