Good quality and super easy to replace my broken piece

I was easily able to remove and replace this part on my front-loading washer and my problem was solved by this new latch or whatever you call it! I was amazed at myself! The part arrived the very net day after I ordered it.

Saved my machine. It broke on Sunday and running by Wednesday!

Ordered, got part next day and was back to washing!

Saved a service call with this quick fix. Once we determined the latch was broken, researched a couple of YouTube videos, found the part on Amazon, had it in one day and boom! Fixed. Very easy install. As another poster said, it does not come with new mounting screws, but all you have to do is reuse the originals. One other interesting thing. When researching the latch problem, one of the videos indicated that latch problems sometimes impact the washer's spin cycle. The spin cycle on our washer had been operating erratically. Once we replaced the latch, the spin cycle seems to be working ok. The jury is still out on this; we still have to see how it goes over the long term, but it looks promising.

I received the door lock and it’s hinge next day. Watched videos on how to replace them. So proud of myself thanks to video and didn’t have to get help. I am 75 and it was great. My daughter in law did tell me about video, thanks to her.

Well, sometimes things go wrong...like a washer door latch breaking when you have a backload to get done! I did not hold out much hope of finding it on Amazon but when I searched for "Electrolux clothes washer door latch", it came up on the first page of results! I got it in 2 days and was caught up with the laundry quickly thereafter. Thank you Amazon!

Very disappointed. Product did not fit, although correct dimensions and make of SUV were verified.
