How I enjoy these: I’ve an OutIn Nano portable espresso machine, first espresso machine I’ve owned. And these pods are fantastic in it! Mainly I’m a coffee drinker, espresso is nice for a quick pick me up while out and about. No steep espresso learning curve about grinds, specific coffee blends or roasts, or tamping etc. No, just put the pod in, finish reassembly, add water, turn it on and wait for a short shot of espresso. Fit is great, punctures easily into play and seals well. Creates a nice crema on top, which gives a very pleasant coffee type aroma. Flavor is a tasty dark roast, not burnt like some brands, but smooth. For a single flavor (no variety) pack, I’m very pleased to have these on hand when going out and about. Less waste than a coffee shop, way less wasted time, money, and fuel. I’m aiming to grind my own and get better with that whole process, but for a set up I store in my backpack and can enjoy in a hike, or pull out of my backpack while out at the park or along a lake to get some work done, these are great!

Illy is hands down my favorite coffee ☕️ The flavor is smooth, rich, and tastes so much more premium than many other pods I’ve tried. I’ve loved it since being in Rome few years ago and drinking it daily. The Nespresso-compatible pods are incredibly easy to use and work perfectly in my machine every time. Value for the money is great…Such an easy way to make café-style espresso at home without spending coffee shop prices! The pods were fresh and didn’t leak and the caffeine content isn’t too high but just right.

This coffee taste just like an Italian bistro! Its aroma and freshness is exactly what I crave in the morning. I use to only drink BLONDE Starbucks but want to stay away from the brand and so happy to have made the switch. This is not a cheap cup but definitely worth it. All the Nespresso pods have been sealed and freshness is always on point. The caffeine is a bit higher than a blonde but even with the high price and caffeine its worth the buy for me.

Good speed in delivery. Reasonable price. This coffee (to me) was just okay, (Not as good as Illy's whole bean coffee...but what is?) and not quite as good as Nespresso's offerings. Others thought it was pretty good.

Illy makes some great espresso and I love that it ships with aluminum capsules that I can recycle with my regular Nespresso pods. They taste amazing and mostly authentic to what I remember Italian coffee tasting like. My issue is in the shipping and handling of the product. I’ve had very mixed results. The photos on this show the more typical experience. The items have the Amazon “new” sticker but clearly they got mishandled somewhere along the line. One box wasn’t even sealed/glued properly and the other looks like someone opened it before it even got to me. The end flap was also not glued down. Because of this several of the capsules are dented and thus not useable due to the way the Nespresso machine works. $9 a box for maybe a half useable box. That’s frustrating and even more infuriating that Amazon won’t return or replace them. Oh well. Know that you’ll get some great tasting quality Illy coffee but depending on where it shops from ymmv for the packaging.

These pods were in no way compatible with my nepresso machine, plus it partially arrived smashed very disapointed.

Great taste, smooth and balanced with no bitterness. Perfect for daily espresso. Crema is nice and consistent every time. Works perfectly with Nespresso machine.
