I don't know how long it took to fully charge but seemed like no time. It gives me the security to know my battery wont run out and I can bump it up an extra liter and not feel like I have to be "saving" with the battery. I needed that for flying. Also when the power goes out I know I will have oxygen and not have to worry. Yes it was expensive but to know I was getting the Inogen brand and not an off brand was worth it. When I can breathe easier because I know I will have oxygen even with no power, priceless.
