Just take the bulb system out of the old one **Q: Are both driver and passenger side assemblies sold together as a pair??** A: I bought both as a set. One was missing the weather stripping but we had some that worked. Didn’t have time to send them back as the car needed lights. Other than that the set looks great. **Q: Does the 70 dollar prices include both lights?** A: Yes this was for 2 rear tail lights. Great fitment **Q: Does this work with the oem single plug connector (2004 r53) or is a breakout to individual bulbs needed?** A: This item did not fit my Mini 2005. Had to send them back. My rear light assembly also had reversing lights which this doesn't. Suggest you use the vin to make sure you get the correct part.
